GE 6 Outlet Surge Protector, 2 Ft Cord, 40532

Good, unexpensive, basic surge protector with a short cord. It is just what I needed. I did not need a big expensive, tons of outlets, or specific orientations with usb ports. I just needed a basic outlet strip that was compact with a short cord and a right angle plug, with circuit breaker.This fit what I was looking for exactly and I'm happy with it.

These "flat" plugs are good, it makes it so I can shove the furniture closer to the wall. The "extension cord" part is 2 feet long and just long enough for my needs. Read the dimensions so you know what you're getting. Getting more sockets where there used to be one is always a good thing. The surge protection is bonus so you don't blow a fuse.

Standard power strip, but the cord is not 2 feet, its 18". For that mistake I deducted a star.

This surge protector is exactly what I needed. The 90-degree flat plug is a game-changer for fitting into narrow spaces behind my furniture. The cable feels very strong and durable, and having 6 outlets in such a compact design is great. Highly recommend!

This strip is serving the purpose for which I bought it. I'm using it as a power source to plug in a few adapters for a guitar pedalboard. I have a power brick but needed a space to plug in a couple of higher draw pedals, until I'm ready to spring for another brick. I like the black casing, as it blends in with the board and cables, and doesn't draw attention. I have fastened this strip to my board with hook-and-loop. It's light and doesn't add much weight. Now I have a single place to plug in and I don't have to run two or three separate lines out for a plug. The switch on the side is also convenient and easy to reach. It's a cheap, simple power strip and it's worth the money. I don't expect it to last forever, but it will do the job. I would not recommend for heavy duty usage or high traffic areas. The case is plastic and could break, with heavy impact.

Served the purpose. Needed something to plug in my computer, printer, speakers, etc. Wanted to mount it to the back of the desk everything is on so it couldn't be seen. Needed the cord to be very short. The 2 foot cord is perfect. Mounted it vertically. Very easy to mount. Can't see any wires anywhere. No issues so far with protection.
