Fitted and worked perfectly first time

2014 IS350……Hood doesn’t open nearly as much due to the struts being so much shorter than OEM. I contacted the seller but didn’t receive a reply unfortunately. 1) Not sure how I’d compress them to enable returning that so that’s something to think about. 2) No way to judge their length unless you’ve cut the band keeping them compressed

Only received one strut, so can not review. Will try again. Re-ordered got both 2nd time and they work as expected. Tome will tell how long they last but I'm satisfied with purchase.

These struts fit physically but the upper ball join connection keeps snapping out as soon as the hood opens, due to the angle of the hood. I installed the upper connection first so the metal clips would be snug around the ball, then as soon as I move the strut to connect the lower ball the upper one snaps out. ABSOLUTE RUBBISH! I tried returning these and they charge $14 return shipping. Now I am stuck with a useless product and have to buy from another vendor. When inspecting the upper connector, the one on the new strut is way thicker at the bottom than the factory one. See photo.
