Application always takes a couple of tries for me, no matter the brand of protectors I buy. I always discover a small piece of lint or smudge gets between the screen and the protector on the first try or two. It's not a mark against these protectors, but you really really gotta make sure the screen is clean and the area you're working in is as close to free of dust and small debris as you can get if you want a flawless application. Once applied, I've never been able to remove and "try again" with the same protector - I have to use a freshly unwrapped one. I'm glad they sell these in packs. That said, the actual application takes under a minute and most of the protector will pull itself onto the screen once started. I only had a couple of small bubbles on an edge or two to push out. The touch screen on my Pixel 8 works as it did before the screen protector (be sure to turn on screen protector "mode" in the Pixel settings). Fingerprint unlock works the same for me as it did without the screen protector. I re-registered my fingerprints after putting the protector on. The screen protector and the phone case I use did not interfere with each other. I don't expect this to keep the screen from shattering if I drop the phone. Maybe it would help, maybe not. I strictly view screen protectors as wear protection. And when the screen protector gets worn enough, I can easily replace it myself for a couple dollars and have a "new screen" on my phone. In the meantime, the actual phone screen is kept in excellent condition underneath.

I bought these 2.5 years ago. Long story short, this is an awesome, long-lasting glass protector that saved my phone from a cracked screen. Highly, highly recommend. I just dropped my phone this evening and had the classic spiderweb crack. Remembering that I had the protector put on back when I got the phone, I peeled it off and the actual screen was as good as new. The protector took all the damage. I went back and checked my order, glad to se that it came with 2 extras. This would be a good deal even it only came with one. Amazing that you get 3 for the price. They're very easy to apply and replace, by the way. The only downside I can mention is that it did prohibit me from using the fingerprint reader. Small price to pay for a great, long-lasting protector that literally saved my phone, though.
