JOAH Perfect Complexion Eye Serum Concealer, Hydrating Under Eye Makeup and Skincare for Dark Circles and Puffiness, Fair Cool

Product arrived on time, and first impressions were good. I have not used this product on my face yet but I have swatched it and it has really nice coverage. It blends into my skin nicely as well. I got pretty lucky with my shade match fortunately. I’ve always bought the concealer wands because of the convenience but I’ve always thought they were a little too small, this one is larger and has a good amount of product. The container is heavy and sturdy too compared to other wands I’ve used in the past. A little goes a LONG way with this product and it DOES NOT need primed when first opened. I clicked it far more than I should have (maybe 5-6 times) and a lot of product came out. So maybe only click it once or twice when using it. Also the smell of the product it’s not overwhelming but it does smell strongly of sunscreen. Excited to see if it helps with my dark circles with the ceramides and peptides in it.

tried the joah concealer in color fair with cool undertones. I really like this concealer. I find that it brightens a little bit more than the flower concealer by drew barrymore in 1-2 fair. It’s not bad in regards to settling in lines, but to note, it does settle more than the flower concealer and the Neutrogena concealer. This is over thin layer of moisturizer and primer. I’ve noticed no difference eliminating either of those steps. I’ve included a picture of these concealers. Under the left eye is the flower concealer and under the right eye is the joah concealer. I’m not sure of I buy again. Leaning towards no strictly from personal preference of brightness.

I bought this on a whim after reading a review of K-beauty products, and I’m so happy I did! I have very pale skin, but with hereditary dark circles under my eyes. I purchased the “fair with cool undertones” shade, and it’s provided good coverage! For reference, I normally buy shade 120 in the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser, and 12B (light beige) in Tarte shape tape concealer. A lot of product comes out during the initial twists! I kept twisting because nothing was happening, and when it finally did have visible product, it’s been enough to use for days! So FYI, go slow on those twists!

Gave it a four because the spongey tip pops off and refuses to pop back on making putting it on impossible and you end up throwing away a half full tube. That said….it makes my morning routine faster by dabbing on as under eye concealer. It’s hard to get too much as you twist the base to exude the stuff. I rarely have creases and if I do, it’s because I got twist happy or the sponge tip broke off and I was applying it with my finger. All in all, great product. Maybe I got a bum applicator?

I've seen a social influencer use this other places to conceal other than the eyes. When I did it, I found it separated from my heavier moisturizer. (It's water-based. That makes sense.) Giving it 4 starts because I was really hoping, by applying with my ring finger, that I wouldn't see the big wrinkle under my eye, but I still do. So it's not completely moisturizing enough for that purpose. But I still like it!
