Yes it's not the cheapest. But this will out last you. The revers is not a gimmick but really hand. We have all used one and had to keep head out of way due to sparks. Or worse sparks flying near fuel or other combustible. No longer.

The Ingersoll Rand 426 3” cut off tool when combined with a good thin disc cuts through steel or aluminium like a hot knife through butter. This is my first rotary cutting tool besides a dremel which is much smaller and like a toy in comparison. I was hesitant at first as you can read deep into comparisons between different brands and models, particularly when it comes to power or horsepower ratings. I can confirm this tool does the job and will cut through pipe work, exhausts, car body panels, unistrut, box section and general sheet steel easily. Don’t buy a cheaper no name brand, buy this and buy once!
