Noticeable Color Change + Great Shine for Brunette Hair
used the Blazing Brown shade of Glaze SuperGloss, and it did actually change my color — I noticed my dark hair took on richer tones, not just a shine boost. The fit for my hair type was excellent: it evenly coated damp hair and rinsed out cleanly. The ease of application was simple — apply to clean damp hair, wait 10 minutes, and rinse. I found the bottle a bit hard to squeeze (others have noted this too), but once you get it flowing it goes on easily. The clarity of color result surprised me: my brunette looked deeper and more vibrant after rinse‑out. It didn’t cover all gray hairs (not a full dye), but improved the tone and look significantly. Value for money: At the price, this is a strong option if you want to refresh and deepen your natural brunette tone without a full color treatment. The combination of color change + conditioning adds good value. Slip resistance / Grip for hair? More like overall wearability — the formula left my hair feeling smoother and less prone to flyaways. The texture afterward: soft, glossy, and manageable. One caveat is that effects may fade quicker if you wash hair often; some users reported results lasting fewer washes than claimed. Summary: If you’re a brunette looking for a at‑home gloss that actually adds tone (not just clear shine), this product did the job for me. The color change was subtle but visible, and the added shine and conditioning were a bonus. Be aware results may vary and the packaging could be better, but worth a try for the effect.

Shiny, Smooth, and Beautiful Hair Finish
Licorice Super Gloss gave my hair an amazing shine and silky smooth finish. It applied easily and left my hair looking healthy and vibrant without feeling heavy or sticky. The gloss enhanced my natural color beautifully and made my strands feel soft to the touch I use it on top of dark brown hair

it's okay
so for the first time i used this product it made my hair exactly how i pictured it would look before i used it, it had a subtle hint of a chocolate cherry color with a nice shine to it and i used it a second time and for the first couple days it was really pretty but then i noticed my hair was suddenly really dark and i thought well maybe it was because my hair was just dirty but then when i got into the shower the water was a black/dark greenish grey color so then i was really confused because it was red previously when i washed it from the first use and then when i went to shampoo my hair the soap was a dark grey ish black color. idk what happened or why it turned out like this but the bottle said it was for brunettes and i am a natural brunette so idk why it turned my hair really really dark/almost black. i'm kinda 50/50. it's an okay product and on the plus side i think it lasts longer than most hair tints..

Works but SO messy
I have mixed feelings about this gloss, hence the 3 star review. Pros: it definitely deposits color. My natural color is a light reddish brown, and this gloss gave it a rich dark brown hue. I did leave it on for 30 mins instead of the recommended 10. Cons: it's so, so messy. Even if you wear gloves to protect your hands, this stuff stains your counters, shower, and towel. I've used Wella and Loreal glosses, and neither stained or bled like this one. The hassle of cleaning up after using this, just for a color refresh that lasts a few days, just isn't worth it for me. Everyone is different, and I can't speak to how the other color options fare. This gloss does work, but just a heads up that it's super messy if you decide to purchase it.

Beautiful color!
I really liked this color glaze, I used to use one by John Freida a long time ago that I loved, but I guess they don’t make it anymore. So I decided to try this after researching some reviews. It was easy to use, it came with a pump and was pretty straightforward as far as directions. The color lasts well for about 5-6 washes, and fades gradually. I wish it lasted a little longer but I don’t want to dive in to an actual color dye yet, I haven’t dyed my hair since high school and at 41 started seeing some gray hair along my temples. This says it won’t cover greys, but if you only have a few, it’ll do the job for a week or so. The color is pretty, doesn’t look like a cheap box dye, it only just slightly darkened my hair, my hair is pretty dark brown anyway but this helps deepen the tone. I used it on wet hair once and dry hair once and for convenience, I’d do it on dry hair. It’s better so you can apply it and let it sit for a while before getting into the shower. If your hair is dirty though or you have product in it I’d wash and then use the glaze. I use this with the John Frieda brilliant brunette shampoo and conditioner, it helps to make the color last longer. Definitely use gloves to put this on. It will stain any fabric or skin it touches. I like to use a plastic bag over my hair while it’s in to keep it from dripping on my face and body.

Great experience!!
This works really well - but it’s much more intense than similar products. I would recommend leaving it on for only 10 minutes and see how you like the end result before leaving it on for the full amount of time. The color fades really nicely and not into any weird colors. Also be sure to IMMEDIATELY rinse it off of any surface because it stains super easily. Great product and great value for money!

Intense rich black results without
I have been trying for years to find something that matches my roots this is the im on my 3-4 wash and the colour still vibrant i hate when the all other products used to wash off and get’s brassy and brown leaves me with dark natural hair and light ends i wanted this intense rich black even its semi permanent i feel that its not that damaging yet and my hair feel soft

Smooth, shiny, soft hair!!!
I love this product. I get glazes/glosses done at the salon instead of full on permanently dyeing my hair. I wanted a nice little cheaper DIY alternative to darken my color a bit and keep it nice and smooth in between salon visits. This product does a wonderful job of making my hair so smooth, shiny, and soft. The bottle says the color lasts about 10 washes? I'd say I get maybe 6 out of it, max. So I do wish it lasted a tad longer but overall, a nice DIY alternative

Chocolate Gleam has become my secret weapon for keeping my brunette interesting. Whenever I feel like my colour needs a little warmth, this is what I reach for. It adds the most beautiful, soft chocolate undertone without making my hair look brassy or overdone. The transformation is subtle but noticeable, my brunette suddenly looks richer, warmer, and more dimensional. In natural light especially, it gives that glossy, melted-chocolate effect that feels so luxe. One of the reasons I love Glaze so much is the flexibility. Because it’s designed to gradually wash out, I can switch up the tone of my brunette whenever I feel like it. I’m not locked into one look, which makes experimenting feel low-risk and fun.

A good product to use if you need to enrich your colour in-between salon visits or home colourings. Gives a good root smudge, so disguises the root line. Nice and conditioning on the hair; the pump that comes with the bottle is useful as it would be difficult to squeeze the product out without it. It’s just a bit on the expensive side, but I think we’ll get three or four uses out of it for long hair.

Used it once, turned my hair to a bluey green in places.. I don't even understand how when it has a red base colour! Won't be using it again absolute waste on money and time. Took away any shine my hair had and turned my hair dry

These glaze hair dyes are great, no mixing, pump was included and depending on length of hair you get a few uses out of one bottle, leaves hair conditioned and feeling great with added shine and revitalises hair colour, I use inbetween hair dresser visits, great value for money
