I've just started using this and the instructions are easy to follow and I'm, so far, impressed with the results. The number spans are wide on the fertilizers are pretty wide, so it will be additional experimenting to get the soil correct. But with the cost and ease of use is why I rated it this high.

There are several different types of soil tests and a lot are really expensive and I’m on a limited budget. I found this kit scrolling through Amazon so I wanted to give it a go! The kit gives you over 120 tests and the results came in less than one hour! As an amateur gardener and flower lover, this was the perfect thing! This kit you get reagents for Potassium, Phosphorus Nitrogen and soil PH. There are instructions included on how to test for each one, which were easy to follow. Just to make sure I did it right, I also used the video on the page, super helpful!! The basic steps, which I used were: 1) Fill the big vile that comes with the kit about a inch high with dirt 2) Get some filtered water and then fill with water. 3)Shake it to combine 4) Let sit for 30 minutes. 5) The kit has a dropper with sucks a bit of the water out. I did that and put it in the small tiny tube which came with the kit. 6) Let it sit for a minute after and compared to the provided chart and see the results! (Make sure you clean the test tubes after each use or you might get faulty results) Honestly, I’d you follow the instructions you’ll be able to see the results. I used the results to help my garden and saw massive improvements in my flowerbeds! I was able to pick a beautiful bouquet for my table. This test doesn’t give you a specific number but definitely gave me the test results I needed to see some improvement. My overall summary is this kit was cost effective and helped me get the results I needed! I highly recommend.

This kit helped saved my front shrubbery. My plants were dying. I tested the soil and fixed the problems that a regular fertilizer couldn't. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the testing instructions. I misplaced the instructions and can't find anything online to retest with the rest of my kit. You can test over and over again if you don't misplace the instructions.

Easy to use. Lots more tests than brand x

I noticed several locations tested the the same level of high phosphorus (including purchased potting mix). I then tested the distilled water and got the same high levels. I tested filtered water and got the same result. roughly 120ppm in every test with soil and without and in both plain water tests. Clearly there is no accuracy here. I can't speak of the other tests (nitrogen/calcium/PH) as I only needed to test phosphorus levels. After that I would not trust the other test results so simply didn't waste my time. And yes, I followed directions exactly.
