So far, I'm impressed. This thing is a beast when I run Adobe Programs like InDesign and Photoshop. It runs better than my Dell All in one in most tasks. Keep in mind my Dell has 16GB of installed RAM and a slightly better processor. Great value for what I need it for.

First off, the fan noise is super loud and kicks in randomly. The laptop will suddenly start sounding like a jet engine out of nowhere. I don’t even need to be running demanding programs for this to happen. It has happened while I only had a single Chrome tab open. Another gripe I have is the trackpad. It feels clunky and just isn’t pleasant to use on a daily basis. Overall, I’ve been using this laptop for a few months now, and it’s still holding up pretty well. Performance and build quality seem solid so far, but the loud fan noise and the trackpad are definitely my biggest complaints.

I ordered two of these laptops on 9/2/25. By 10/26/25, one of them was no longer usable thanks to "the blue screen." I contacted manufacturer support and was told there is no warranty on these because they are built to be sold in India. So I spent over $500 for a laptop which worked less than 2 months.

I purchased this computer one month ago and two weeks ago, the screen started going black while still on so it forces me to hold down the on/off button to restart. It wouldn't allow me to save work so I did lose some work in the first day of this happening. I have been going back and forth with the seller to see if they will fix what happened or honor a discount for the inconvenience of having to send back and ensure I get the same price. They aren't willing to do anything to help the defective computer or ensure I get the same price. This is my work computer and I'm going to have to use the defective computer, risking losing work while I figure out a time I can be without a computer for several days. This has been a huge waste of time getting everything setup and all of my files transferred over, only having to send it back and do it all over again.

I think Acer makes good products (generally) but I would beware this seller. The fan motor began grinding/failing about 5 months after purchase. Acer USA will not honor the 1 year manufacture warranty because this product was made in India. Acera India will not service a product that is not physically in India. The seller has refused responsibility for even the cost of a repair, even if the product is advertised as coming with the manufacturer warranty. Amazon chat associates were really helpful, however, and did their best.

I am returning this computer. It was defective. Not happy about this. Quite a bit of time wasted setting it up. It won’t start despite trouble shooting. I’ve only had it a couple of weeks.

Its very slick and powerful, haven't used it too much yet to say about the Heat Level, and haven't taking it with me yet but first impressions pretty good
