Wall clocks aren't known for being ultra accurate even though most are quartz driven. Many years ago I switched to a digital display wall clock with radio control and it has been really accurate. However, I miss the old traditional analogue clock face especially in the kitchen. Radio controlled analogue clocks were hard to get hold of and/or were very expensive back then. Now there are many on the market and it was time for me to change.This clock arrives in a nice retail type box along with a hook mount and some instructions. It doesn't have a battery included so you need a single AA battery to power it up. Once installed I just let the clock do its stuff. After about 10 minutes, the clock hands started to move on their own until finally stopping at the right time. It was quite fascinating to watch! Then every two hours the clock checks the radio time and compensates for any drift which is unlikely. This also means that when the clocks go forward or backwards, this clock will automatically adjust itself.The radio signals are provided nationally and most people should be able to receive them. In the case that you live in an area that doesn't have access to the signals then the clock can be set manually. The seller offers a 60-day money back guarantee which could be used in this case.Overall, this is a nice clock at a fair price. Radio control clocks are more expensive than standard clocks. I have seen cheaper on Amazon but this one stands out as having the nicest clean design in my opinion. It's worth the extra.

A handsome clock, which after a very short time, switches to a completely wrong time. All efforts to reset it have so far failed. A huge disappointment. Don't buy one!

I was in two minds about ordering this clock following a couple of negative reviews but I needed a clock that could put itself forward and back as I am no longer steady on a ladder. To date I have not regretted getting it.It is a very handsome wall clock with very clear numbering and so easy to set up even I could do it. You have to remove a tiny pin at the back first of all, which I believe keeps the hands in place during transit. You then have to insert one AA battery in line with other clocks of its type. Make sure you put it in the right way round.It comes set at 12 and when you insert the battery the hands should fly round setting back at 12. After a pause the clock should adjust itself to the right time so don't get worried if it doesn't set immediately.I am only just leaving the review as I wanted to see what would happen when the clocks went back. I was out at the time but can confirm that it did go back an hour and seems to be fine.On this basis I would recommend the clock and can only assume the unhappy customers got a Friday afternoon model.

I bought this clock because my previous one, Acctim Cadiz RC Wall Clock, became faulty after a few years. This has a very clear face and keeps accurate time; it was very easy to hang on the wall with an existing nail.

This is an excellent kitchen clock - clear, easy to read face and hands with pulsing second hand. The set up worked as per instructions supplied: initially, when the lock-pin in the movement is pulled out and battery is inserted, hands sweep around the face and re-set at 12 o'clock. A few minutes later as the radio signal is detected, the hands move to the correct time. the clock appears to be well made with an aluminium frame and comes supplied with a patent hanging hook. Good value and worth the extra money for the convenience of never having to adjust for BST and knowing the clock is totally accurate.

Firstly, I actually read the instructions for a change but couldn't get it to work. Of course, they are poorly translated into some sort of English and they appear to be for a bare clock movement. So having ignored the bit about attaching the clock face and the hands, and the bit about removing the battery cover (which it doesn't have) I inserted the battery - but nothing happened. I then wondered why there was a pin sticking out of the back of the housing? With this removed it all started up as advertised. I now see that the pin removal is mentioned in the bullet points above but is not mentioned anywhere in the instruction manual - well, I say manual - it is just a single sheet of paper.It is now working, and is obviously getting the time signal, but the secondhand is infuriatingly about 1/2 second out, so it doesn't actually point at any of the minute marks. So if you ever need to set anything to the second you would struggle.Unlike some other reviews there were no other wall fixings in the box - not that I expected any, but just as a data point.

The media could not be loaded. This is the firstanalogue radio controlled clock i have had and love it. So accurate and unlike a previous digital one that i had that was supposed to radio controlled which set itself i hour ahead all the time (i think Germany) but this clock is great.Remember to pull the silver pin out the back centre first as this is just used to align the hands during manufacturing.It was fascinatic watching the clocks hands automatically setting the time themselves and occasionally it will check the time during the day and correct it but havent noticed this happening as it would be correct anyway.I tried to film the hands setting themselves, rather stupidly i did this just after 12pm so the didnt move much, im afraid. Also the clock comes with a hook that you simply hammer into the wall as it attached grip nails? that extend into the wall. The hook is wrapped in white bubblewrap type material in the box and nearly threw it away. Just beware that it was included. This is a great wee addition to my office and lovely aluminium edge on it.
