Great product. It doesn't taste bad, it has no taste. I used a smaller frother with a wisk attachment to mix and it worked great. Stirred occasionally with a straw while drinking and had no lumps or residue. I appreciate the packaging given so many others come in a huge plastic barrel. Was able to reseal it so maybe they have worked on that? I was prepared to use a big chip clip to hold it closed but had no need. I sleep like a rock the nights I drink it. I really like this brand.

Good stuff! I love that this casein powder is made of only one ingredient and no junky fillers! Also cheapest on the market so far (that I found at least), so I am subscribing to this product now! Just so you know, this will taste bad. It has no sweeteners or flavorings. It will taste chalky. Letting the mixture sit for 20 minutes before consuming helps the powder absorb moisture and become less chalky and smoother. To make this taste yummy, I mix the powder with oat milk, a spoon of cocoa powder, and a ripe banana. And it actually starts to taste amazing! I do use a blender to mix this all well. I don’t use a shaker bottle as such products with no junky additives don’t usually mix well. I’d have to use a blender anyways to mix in my banana though. With that being said, I’m very happy with this product and will stay with this brand for now!

Love that this is nothing but Casein Protein. Love that it has NO added sugar or fake sugar. Love that it mixes easily. BUT the bag was so full that I got it all over the counter just trying to very carefully, using a skinny spoon handle to gently lift, get the scoop out. Kinda expensive to just have it all over the counter. But I figures it's fine--until I try to close it up and the zipper doesn't work!!!! There isn't enough bag to fold it over and the zipper just flat out doesn't work (and I gave it plenty of time and effort). So it took a whole row of binder clips (like from an office supply--I use them to close up all kinds of bags in my kitchen) to close it. Had to use it probably a week before I could fold it over. I get really frustrated with the protein powders that come in HUGE cans that are a third full--but with this product the pendulum has swung completely the other way. A bag could have some 'wiggle room' and not take up any extra space because it folds down. After careful comparison, this brand also was one of the best values. I may buy it again, but I may try something else. Sure like no sugar or fake sugar. Sure hate the mess. . . .

I really love this casein protein, it is a great addition to my Iso whey protein snack with oat bran and hemp seeds, it tastes like cheese if you add it to yogurt, so I only use it in combination with my ISO whey. Great product, great brand.

It’s literally just Casien powder, it’s chalky and doesn’t mix well in a shaker bottle haven’t tried a blender

Got this today - can't speak to the quality/effectiveness of the protien - I am writing this review to complain about the packaging, which is completely unacceptable. This product is in a "resealable" bag - good luck with that. I attempted to reseal this bag for at least 10 minutes with no luck at all. It will not reseal and even if you can get parts of the seal to engage the strength is so weak it is effectively useless. I had to search my house of a suitable container to transfer this product to, to avoid the inevitable disaster that was certainly play out if you attempt to leave this in it unsealed "resealable" bag. To make matters worse, the bag is so full that cannot sit unright with any stability - increasing the likelihood of a spill. I would like to know from the company: Has nobody at your company attempted to open and reseal your product in this packaging or did you try it, realize it was useless and still shipped the product in this packaging? Either answer is not a good one. Fix this, this product should be in a plastic cylindrical bottle with a screw on top - like most of the competitors. Or at least find a resealable bag that will actually reseal and that is big enough to allow it to sit upright when full.

Do not buy. Requires a massive serving scoop and still needs to be mixed to drink. Bag arrived busted because of how thin it is, covering everything else in the box making a massive mess when the box was opened. Has no taste and considering how much has to be mixed it is a waste of money as there are more efficient and effective casein supplements out there.

My doctor wants me to take this stuff because old people like me need to maintain their muscle mass. He also wants me to exercise, which I do, some. So I'm not qualified by knowledge or experience to say anything about how effective this stuff is. But my son, a long-time weightlifter, knows about using this & it's the brand he recommended to me. Hence, five stars. But given my diet, the only effective way for me to ingest it is by drinking it. And it's not an easy task, because it gets chalky, clumps up, and besides, I hate milk. So here's how I make it drinkable. The sequence is important. METHOD: 1. Pour 8 oz of cold water into a glass or blender or shaker. Add one teaspoon of basic cocoa. Mix it up with the spoon. 2. Add one teaspoon of olive oil & stir. This is the critical ingredient. 3. Add 1 scoop of the Casein & stir in, but don't worry about blending. You just want to get the stuff mixed into the water. 4. At this point, use some kind of blender & blend till the drink is smooth enough to suit you. This won't take long and it will get smooth enough to drink pretty quickly. OBSERVATIONS: 1. The olive oil is critical. It doesn't have to be anything special but you might want to get something that doesn't have a robust flavor. I use Pompeian Organic Extra Virgin Smooth because I've been taking a tablespoon a day of it already, so it was available. I might try using a tablespoon of it instead of the teaspoon I'm using in the mix. And I'm going to try a cheaper brand if that seems to work. 2. I use Hershey's Special Dark Cocoa - it's powdered & has no sugar since I'm diabetic. But you should be able to use anything you want along these lines to flavor the stuff. Or if the taste is not an issue, just use the olive oil. 3. I use a small hand held battery powered milk frother for the blending. It is what I use to froth milk for cappuccinos & not very big - nothing like an immersion blender. But you could use a regular blender for the whole process, except it leaves a blender to clean up. Or a hand held protein powder shaker might work - or might not... or an old fashioned eggbeater...or an immersion blender. Whatever gets it to the texture you want. It's a YMMV situation - works for me!
