tl;dr: Great product and even better customer service! I was dubious about the claims that there is no need to peel the potatoes. How do the skins not block the holes and prevent the potatoes from going through? Well, I don't know how it works but it does. This ricer makes such quick work of making potatoes. It also works great on avocados to spread on an English muffin. Unfortunately, as I was hand-washing it after its second use (I don't trust the dishwasher not to damage the finish), the rivet holding the piston part on fell off. I thought it would be a battle to get the company to make things right but I gave it a shot. I messaged the company on the Saturday night before Christmas. Their website states that they don't answer emails on weekends or holidays. Imagine my surprise when I had a response the very next day, Sunday, asking for further information! After answering their questions, I received an email stating I could expect a replacement ricer arriving within a week. I have been floored by the high quality of the customer service provided by this company plus I love my ricer!
