Phone Cable

I use this 7magic usb c hub adapter by loading all the possible ports and then testing each port's device in order to see if it could carry the load. I plugged the usb c hub into my 2017 MacBook Pro, then I plugged a USB to Lightning cable with iPhone X, a USB to kingston 32GB U-disk, and then plugged the HDMI cable to my 4K TV. I did not plug in the USB-C power cable as I wanted to see if this combination would work only on laptop power. All devices worked perfectly. The 4K TV played 4K video from my MacBook. Kingston read read and transfer data just fine. Lightroom imported the 54Mb photos into it's gallery. iPhone X linked with iTunes and started syncing. All this activity was happening at same time - with no slowdown or noticeable dysfunction of any unit or data transfer.I then plugged in the USB-C power cord to the 7magic type c hub (with all other devices still plugged in) and it powered my MacBook Pro just fine, with no effect on, or disconnect, of the other devices plugged into hub. I replace the kingston U-disk to my USB Apple watch charger - which then began charging my Apple Watch II just as normal.So i think this 7magic usb c adapter works perfectly as described. This will save space when I travel as I no longer need to take my HDMI to USB-C cable, my USB-C to USB adapters. Just wished this would have been available before I had to buy all those other cables.You can't go wrong with this purchase. I think I tested it to the limits and it passed every test.

I just got my new MacBook Pro 2017 a couple of weeks ago and found Apple did not coming with old ports,just a type c interface. I couldn't use my hard drive, SD cards or hook up my other monitor any more. So i was looking around for something that would let me connect them all through just one adapter, until i see this 7MAGIC USB type c hub adapter at one of my friend's home. Glad to know it, I did, because it gives me all the ports I need and it looks super match with my MacBook color---space gray, learn from my friend the adapter does get a little warm but it was ok for me. Overall, th is a excellent device that build looks like an Apple product. Would definitely recommend and buy again.

This is an excellent USB C hub for any kind of USB C device. I mostly use it for my Chromebook. I use the Samsung Chromebook Pro which only comes with two USB C ports. Every once in awhile I want to have access to the traditional USB A ports. This Hub gives me access to that. On top of that, it also gives you the ability to use your laptop with a monitor. I would have to say my only gripe with it is the fact that it does need to be connected to power to use the HDMI port. Which isn't a big deal, but I thought I'd let you know. If you're looking for USB C hub for your MacBook, Windows, Chromebook, or even your phone you can't go wrong with this one.

Great portability offered due to the somewhat small size and a metal outer construction should provide long-term durability for long-term use.I am happy to see the pass-through charging as well as the USB PD support, not something that is as common as one would expect and it allows for charging even the newer high powered devices such as the new MacBooks.I also noticed the cable of this usb c hub is a very high quality softer or more flexible construction rather than the rigid cables that feel like they'll easily break so I think this will not be easily damaged when tossing into the laptop bag.If only this offered an RJ45 jack and a card reader. it would be pretty much the perfect all in one solution but as it is now this 7magic usb c to HDMI adapter covers most of my needs well enough to earn a permanent spot in my bag.
