More difficult than expected.
Assembly instructions could be better. Definitely took longer to assemble than what we anticipated but most of this time was spent figuring how to fit it together. Parts fit together well. My 10 yo niece enjoyed it, but would not have been able to do this on her own. Cool project overall!

Easy and Fun
This horse was so easy to put together. My sister and I had a race to get the body parts in the right places. She had another visible horse model but it was difficult and you had to paint it and put it together with glue. This one is colorful and easy to snap together in no time. Great present for a vet student who doesn't have much time to put models together but wants somehting for their desk.

A Good Learning Model More Than a Toy.
I bought this model for my 7 year old grandson who recently started riding and currently aspires to be a Vet. The model is small and some of the bits are tiny but manageable if one has reasonable dexterity. It is not for the easily frustrated as it requires patience and a thought to put together. The documentation is marginally helpful, and we used the picture on the cover more that we did the provided sheet for guidance. I also bought "Horse Anatomy (Dover Nature Coloring Book)" which proved a useful addition.I worked with my grandson to put the model together for the first time. One of the small pieces had molding flash still attached which prevented it from fitting properly until the excess material was removed. The pieces will all fit together properly, but the final assembly is not terribly robust. To reiterate, it was a bit of a problem solving exercise to fit the pieces into the correct spots, but we found the feeling of accomplishment worth the effort. I do not recommend this as a quick-assembly toy. There are better choices for that purpose. However, I do recommend it as a learning exercise for the curious child. It was fun to see my grandson made associations with his dog and human anatomy during the process. The finished product is suitable for display in a safe spot and can be disassembled and reassembled as long as one keeps track of all the pieces (you wouldn't want to lose his pancreas, would you?). I deducted a star for the less than great documentation.

Educational gift
We got this for our aspiring "animal doctor" Grand daughter's 8th Birthday. Along with a couple of horse anatomy books. The parts are small but easily manageable with her small fingers. Would suggest a storage box for the parts so they all stay together since it doesn't come with one. All in all she loves it and uses it often. It is assisting with organ names and locations. Great gift.

Decent content poor quality
I gave it a 3 star because it does have a pretty good representation of the anatomy of the horse. The basic structures are there and it helps study the bones and major organs. The plastic was very poor quality though and the ear with skin fell off and is not MIA the plastic that holds the back hoof in also broke. So very poor quality product physically but it is a helpful visual. I don't think it's worth the price but now that I have it I'm sure I'll reference it when studying.

Engineering degree required for assembly
Very hard to put together instructions or lack there of made it nearly impossible to fit the pieces together.

Nice 4d horse good for education
Very nice product. Looks just like the picture. I think this is a great horse model for young horse crazy kids as well as adult inquiring minds.
