Hopkins Towing Solutions 48265, 4 Flat Trailer End Y-Harness (30') Connector

I received as described, length as described, good quality wire, not cheap chinese stuff. Had to buy this to go with a set of Submersible LED's I boght for my boat trailer as the harnes that shipped with it wasn't long enough for my 22' bay skiff. That wire also looked incredibly cheap. The saltwater would have eaten it very quickly.

I purchased this harness assembly after discovering the local critters made a meal out of the insulation on my boat trailer wiring. I had heard of this but never experienced it first hand. I am absolutely happy with the shipping and the quality of this wiring harness. Certainly made the job very easy and since I bought long there were no worries of not having enough wire. Simply you can always make it shorter but longer is another thing. Good quality- Good price - What more could you want?

Very impressed. I have had problems with harnesses working correctly with my truck. The lights on my trailer quit working. I have tried several sets of magnetic towing lights. I have had to angle them just right for all the lights to work. Not so with this harness. It was a simple plug and play. I bought some lights to try it out with before I rewire my trailer. I wanted to make sure I didn't have to use a pigtail. Happy to find out I will be able to use this with no finagling. I also like the fact that the wires are y-ed, which means no splicing.

We ordered this and it was defective. Contacted seller and sent replacement over night. Wasn’t able to use for trip but was easy to install and replacement worked great!

Honestly, this is the only way to wire up a trailer. The wiring harness has two brown (running lights) wires so there is no need to splice a wire between left and right side. It means you can run the wires down the length of the trailer, one group on each side, connect to the rear lights and be done. I had one splice for a running light in the middle and used a posi-tap stuffed with dielectric grease. For the rear lights I used heat shrink connectors and a bit of dielectric grease for good measure. The wiring is high-quality stuff, very flexible and feels like it will last for years and years. The only small complaint is that the white ground wire should be about 12" longer.

This was the thicker wire, unsure what gauge and the ground wire was thicker than the rest of them. I found it a higher quality wiring harness than the "Made in China" harness that was available at the local trailer store. I would buy again. I wired a 6x12 foot utility trailer and had to cut off about 6 feet of wire. So for my application the wiring was plenty long.

If you are needing to wire up your trailer this is the wiring kit you want. The wire is all copper and it works very well for connecting my trailer lights to my truck when I am pulling it. With 30' of wire there should be enough wire to do almost any trailer size and have wire left over. The 4 prong end is molded rubber and what I would guess is copper prongs with a galvanized coating but I am not 100% sure if they are copper but I can say this plug and wiring kit worked very well for me on my utility trailer.

I am getting tired of having to rewire my trailer every year or two due to cheap wire kits. This time I did some research before ordering and I am very happy with this wiring kit. Thicker gauge wire than others and seems durable. Only time will tell but the quality is much better than others I had purchased in the past.

Good quality wire harness. I like the double brown wire, it works out great for what I needed. I have recommended this to others.
