Great Projector Perfect Picture 3D A Little Finicky To Set Up
This is an excellent projector and confirmed by all the reviews I read before purchase, the included transit box is excellent apart from the hinge which looks plasticky so not sure how long it will last. Any downsides, just one and that is pairing the 3D glasses and no instructions in either manuals as to how to. Basically it is automatic but to get that there is a convoluted procedure to go through and best Googled but briefly the picture has to be reset and then 3D switched on which it wont do unless a 3D video is already playing worse still the projector tells you to ensure the accessory is in pairing mode no mention of how though for these glasses. Once you have got the 3D movie running and a picture on the screen then is the time to switch your glasses on. Once working the 3D picture is incredible, I used the first release of Avatar and the little Awar were floating almost into my face the detail in the image is the best I have ever seen in 3D and the reason I wanted this projector because I have several 3D movies and not been able to watch them since my Panasonic 50inch TV died at few years back modern TVs currently don't do 3D, but now I would not buy one even if they did although I have a 4K Panasonic which I find excellent for ordinary viewing. Danbei please include the procedure for the 3D glasses no where in the manual for this product or the glasses manual is there any hint of how to do this, apparently supposed to be automatic but wont be unless certain conditions are preset.

4K with Google TV , WIFI6 and fast responsive autofocus/keystone. Great bargain.
Honestly surprised, was considering the hisense 4k or the xgimi. Always wanted a semi-portable projector but with a built in gimble. Never heard of this brand but when the prime day deal dropped and read up on the disappointing reviews of xgmi and the atill expensive price point of an equivalent hisense, i took a gamble on dangbei MP1 MAX. All I can say so far, is bang on processing. Honestly can move the projector and watch it adjust within a second. Now I don't install much extra stuff, I just keep to the basic netflix, prime, youtube, so ram and storage is perfect, mileage might vary for heavy users. The case is a genius move, when I want to move the projector away, just pop it back in with all the cable and stuff. No fuss. Taking it to a friend's place our on holiday is easy. Can't say about longevity, so have to wait and see. But so far? Is banging quality for its price, especially if you can grab it on a discount deal like Prime Day. Edit 3 month review: so sound, picture and responsive has held up. Installed kids mode, that was through only issue I saw, took a long time. Now that could have been that the dangbei was 3 floors down from my WIFI, my 5G LTE phone ISP speed or ram/storage allocation. It did take shorter then an hour so in perspective it wasn't ther long. More importantly, having two profiles didn't have any noticeable lag. Kids enjoy gaming on it and it's so bright, I rarely have to close the blinds except on sunny days (haha UK is rarely so) or when there is a very dark scene. So at three current non-discount price? It's competitve. But on a discount? I'll still think it's the best deal you can get.

Absolutely Impressed — Bright, Clear, and Completely Worth It! I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first set up the Dangbei DBOX02 Laser Projector under my carport, but this thing blew me away. In the beginning of my video you’ll see how it looks on my 120-inch projector screen — the brightness and clarity were fantastic even outdoors. Then later in the video I point it at the side of my house, and honestly, it looks better than many indoor projectors I’ve used.* The image stays sharp and vibrant even in less-than-ideal lighting, and the colors pop in a way that makes movies and videos feel cinematic. Setup was easy and quick, and the autofocus keeps everything crisp without constantly adjusting. If you’re thinking about using this for backyard movies, outdoor gatherings, or a big screen experience without spending a fortune — this projector delivers. Plenty bright, amazingly clear, and overall just a great buy. Highly recommend!

Consigliato

Alright, buckle up, because I've got a projector tale to tell. For years, I rocked an LCD Epson that served me well, until the day it started bleeding colors like a wounded rainbow. Turns out, LCDs and heat don't mix, and fixing it would've cost more than a new one. Thus began my quest for the perfect projector! Now, I use my projector as my main TV. No joke, I haven't owned an actual TV in ages. I love the minimalist look of a blank wall when it's not in use, and my projector lives like a ninja, tucked away in a small cabinet. So, I needed something compact, lightweight, but still professional enough to handle movie nights, gaming marathons, and the occasional epic slideshow of my cat. (Don't judge.) I have a tiny, less-bright projector for travel, so this one stays put. After an epic amount of research, I landed on this DBOX02. It was the Goldilocks of projectors – just the right size, super compact (smaller than my old Epson!), and it even has 3D! I don't use it often, but hey, it's there if I suddenly crave some Avatar action. And the best part? It's ACTUAL 4K, not that faux-K nonsense. This thing is SUPER FKN BRIGHT! Seriously, it could illuminate a small stadium! I have to use Eco mode or lower, otherwise the whites are so intense they might burn my retinas. But hey, if you want to watch movies with the windows wide open, this is your champion. No worries though, you can easily dial down the brightness if needed. And get this, it's whisper-quiet, especially in Eco mode. This is a big deal for me because, remember, it lives in a cabinet above my head. The last thing I need is a whirring engine competing with my surround sound. This projector? Silent as a ninja in a library. Plus, it keeps it cool as a cucumber in its little hidey-hole. Now, let's talk price. I snagged this beauty on Black Friday for around $1300. Way worth it in my book. It future-proofs my setup and works like a dream with my PS5. It was priced similarly to its competitors but packed more features. Sure, it's not a big-name brand, but I took a chance on a lesser-known brand and scored big time! (I was fully prepared to return it if it was a dud, but thankfully, it wasn't.) Okay, now for the (minor) cons. There's a bit of light leak around the image, meaning it spills over the edges of my screen slightly. The image itself fits perfectly, but for a perfectionist like me, it's a tad annoying. It's not like it's projecting onto my neighbor's house or anything, so I'm willing to sacrifice that for the stunning image quality. Another thing: you might want to grab the swivel stand. The legs on the bottom don't adjust like the instructions show. Maybe that was only a feature in the first version, but if you need to tilt the projector up or down, you'll need that stand. It adds a bit of bulk, but luckily, my cabinet has more room than a clown car, so it still fit! Here's the kicker: out of the box, the picture settings are AWFUL. It's like they cranked up every artificial enhancement imaginable. Motion smoothing? Check. Interpolation? Double-check. It makes everything look like a sped-up soap opera from the '80s. Trust me, I'm a cinematographer – turn ALL that stuff off! The only reason to keep those settings is if you ONLY watch sports. (And seriously, I change this setting in every friend's house I visit. It's a pet peeve, I know. 😅) My advice? Put it in "movie" mode, adjust your brightness (custom mode), and turn off ALL other settings except for HD mode (obviously). Once you do that, this projector looks like... well, a thousand bucks! Seriously, it's a game-changer. I never thought I'd be able to afford a laser projector at this price point. If you're on the fence, jump off and grab this projector! You won't regret it. 4.5 stars!
