I purchased this beef jerky last month, a week before I travel out of the country. When I got to my destination, I realize some of them had mold and had list it sealed. I just figured it was because I had travel but then yesterday I ordered more and I received this beef jerky today and 3 out of 12 had lost it seal and have mold on them again. I will not buy these anymore.

Despite my seemingly large order for Jack Links, I must admit...I don't like them. They tend to get pieces stuck between my teeth which is rather annoying. So why buy so many? Well, anybody that's purchased dog treats at places like PETCO and PET Smart knows about the sticker shock at the register. Getting out of those stores for under $100.00 is really hard to do unless you purchased only one treat. Who just buys one treat? To make matters worse, many of those treats come out of China. You never know what ingredients those factories put in such treats, as China has time and time again put out treats for dogs that ended up killing them. This is true of even the dried chicken strips which appeared to be all natural, but still managed to poison and kill several dogs before they were recalled. Its flat out ridiculous that the companies making them can't make their products using American workers in American factories, especially with the outrageous prices they tend to charge. Such treats are priced at levels where they could be paying Americans $30.00 an hour and still be highly profitable. But no, instead these companies are flat out greedy, charging upwards of 2000% of the actual cost to make these products. As such, my dogs get treats that are made by American workers for American workers. They happen to love these Jack Links and to be perfectly honest, at the price I found in here, I have no problem giving these to them. Each package cost slightly over a dollar and contains two beef sticks. That's nearly 70% off the price you can find them in most stores. I'm not sure how fresh they are, but my dogs absolutely love getting them. And when they're happy, I'm happy. Highly recommended for people too!!!

I work in the fitness industry and some of us are nut heads, gym rats, whatever you want to call us. Most of us are just normal people trying to improve ourselves. It is all about health and fitness. One day a bodybuilder friend of mine was fasting. He had not eaten in 2 days. He told me what he was doing. I warned him that fasting is dangerous. As a hypoglycemic... if I go without even one meal, I pass out. I am 180 pounds. Yet my body builder friend of pure muscle and strength nearly passed out that day. A big muscular man But I remembered that I had "Jack Link's" in my truck and coconut water. I retrieved both and gave them to him. Hours later, he was feeling as himself again and thanked me for the protein and water. I am not saying that "Jack Link's is a miracle". It is just a delicious snack and hit of protein. But I do recommend keeping a stash in your car for emergencies. Me, I enjoy it whenever I can.
