Sounds good hits nicely works best with drum n bass or rap and hip hop if your looking for a sub that works good with heavier stuff like metal the sub dosent respond well with triple kicks

Bought this DS18 to replace an MB Quart DS1-254 10" shallow sub rated for 300w RMS @ 2 Ohms after clearly reaching max excursion in a custom fit box tuned to 32Hz. Running 500w RMS @ 1 Ohm with this sub, no longer hitting max excursion, 32Hz notes hit much harder, as well as smoother overall performance. 10/10 would recommend!

Not quite what I excepted. Purchased Alpine which is a 5 star no doubt.

Glad I could find a sub that had a lot of power and was shallow enough to fit behind my rear seat in my 3rd gen Tacoma and sounds great.
