Oh My This is GOOD Vinegar. I didn't know what to expect and what I received I could never have imagined. When you taste it for the first time, you know it's vinegar BUT.... The flavor is hard to describe. I will say it's sweet, as vinegars go, with a taste that is reminiscent of chocolate, good chocolate, not cheap chocolate. It is really good and adds a whole new level of flavor to any food. A MUST tray for any foodie. If you like new food tastes, just buy it. You can thank me later. Very good Chinese black vinegar. Authentic flavor, naturally fermented and aged 3 years. Works perfectly for dumplings, stir-fries, and noodle dishes. Highly recommend.

Worked well in a recipe I had that called for it. Flavor is unusual - I liken it to my experience with Fish Sauce, which smells terrible but adds remarkable taste. Tasting just the vinegar was initially disappointing but it worked well in the dish.

Wow- this is such a delicious black vinegar- and the box it comes in is so nice! On sale right now- so worth it!!

Even though I find it quite a bit pricey, it's not bad and has a good flavor. It pairs pretty well with dumplings, so I'm happy at least about that.
