It seems to be a nice high quality pointer that should last a long time and is easy to charge. The old battery style were always a pain and very seldom lasted more than a few months plus the expense of the batteries. Now I think most of those problems will be a thing of the past. One word of caution is using for a cat lazer chase toy is, I feel way to bright and could cause harm but with the refractory lens on it, it makes it more functional for my cat. It is just he does not know which light to chase but he tries. I feel it is worth the money if you have it for multifunctions and not just a pet toy. The single beam was way too bright for me to look at for more than a split second or two and I can imagine what a cat sees so becareful.

These laser pointers are actually brighter than I expected and brighter than other pointers I purchased in the past. It does use use the rechargeable batteries fairly quick, lasting about two weeks with daily use in playing with our dog. In fact, it may be too bright for fear of getting the light in his eyes.

Instructions could be clearer but it works fine as a red dot pointer

Work fine, good for presentations. Do not shine in eyes or sight will be damaged, do not shine into a digital camera or sensor could be damaged.

This thing works great. It feels tough not cheap. I use it to run my dogs around the house and yard at night. Probably more awesome for cats lol. Has usb charger, i just put ut in my wall charger for cell phone !
