At the moment, this is my favorite episode. Review: Simply amazing - Its a tough task to beat the original Frozen Planet but this equals it at the very least with some of the quality even better due to newer technology. Wish there were more episodes! David Attenborough is a global treasure.

Amazing
I love most of the documentaries that David Attenborough narrates and does not get preachy, this is one of them. Videography is top tier. Highly recommend.

Better than other recent offerings
With a lot of the newer BBC / Attenborough "Planet" series that have come out recently, I've found myself... I don't want to say underwhelmed, but they haven't given me that same sense of magic and awe that the first Planet Earth, Blue Planet, and Frozen Planet did. I realize that's a bit unfair, as the cinematography in Planet Earth was so different from what we had seen from nature documentaries in the past that trying to get back to that level of excitement is extremely difficult, as our expectations have risen based on those incredible series. While watching the first episode of Frozen Planet II, I found myself closer than I have been in a long time to that same enthrallment I felt when watching the first Planet Earth. The portion with the Orca hunt I especially enjoyed, though it really irritates me that everyone always uses such villainous music for Orca hunts while dolphins on the hunt get boisterous, joyful music. It would be nice if there was more focus on animals we haven't seen in other series, though. Emperor Penguins, pallas's cat, orca, seals and polar bears were the main stars here and while there was some new information provided, it would have been nice to see at least a few animals that hadn't been covered in past series. A single episode is too small a sample size to be completely confident, and I'll adjust this review as needed as other episodes are released, but at least so far I have a lot of hope for this series.

On attend toujours mieux et pourtant il nous surprend à chaque fois. Il va falloir inventer un autre mot qui surpasse l'excellence. Merci

Terrible experience. Ordered twice and had to return it both times, both boxes arrived unsealed and damaged inside. The discs had some scratches on them.

Come al solito, la BBC non ha rivali in questo campo
