Great expansion system for small gigs or expanded productions
First use of this item made me realize I did not regret buying it. Sennheiser has been a mainstay in my video production bag for decades, this latest iteration brings the same quality you may come to expect in an ultra compact and well-designed kit. I am particularly happy with the case that stores every component you need nicely, and although a bit on the plasticky side, it seems robust enough to hold up to pro use. These are tiny, dare say, smaller than some other competitor brands. I can immediately say that they compare well with EDW system quality and are a nice add-on in the event you need extra microphones. I own four of the EDW lav systems, and the Profile 2 has held up well in sound quality when mixed together. DJI and RODE have similarly good quality, but the Sennheiser compatibility makes this a no-brainer for my particular set-up. One thing I have not been able to figure out is a non-functioning power button on the front of the device. When the receiver and transmitters are removed, they all work fine, but the mystery button on the case seems to have no function for now. The controls are insanely simple, with only a few items on the touch screen menu. These are a bit small, so you may have to use your pinky to actuate, especially if you have big hands like me. The value for the money is what made me buy this - good quality audio for under $250? yes please! The wireless connectivity was great at 10 yards in a room with much RF interference. Well worth the price to upgrade my audio bag with these tiny microphones, ultra-lightweight quality.

Best Mics for the money!!!
Hands down the absolute best mic I’ve ever owned. The battery life is unreal! I only have connection issues when I’m near large WiFi usage areas. The range is limitless because of one function that is not given enough shine. This mic has so many different functions it’s not even funny. The way it has just fit in to my workflow seamlessly has been a dream. Not to mention the sound quality is completely compatible with the shotgun Mic of the same brand!

Win for content creators, minus a meh carry case.
I do not give 5 stats ever. This is the exception. This Set is very rugged, sturdy and solid. The built quality is that of 1980's Shure microphones. The design is practical, eye candy and makes sense. It is bulky but it is the bulkyness that makes it different and practical. Because of its design, this microphone can be handled by people with large hands, something microphone companies had not thought of before. The price is better than DJI and Rode and equal or greater quality. The sound quality is that of a Senheisser product, meets the expectations. The bonuses are the built-in storage per rexiever. The con is that lavaliere mics are sold separately at 50% the cost of the set. Meaning, it will cost $500-$600 to get this set to work with 2 lavaliere mics on top of the original recievers. I am very pleased to see that I can use this set with a mirrorless camera, a lighting phone or any usbc device. This is huge! My last negative of the product is the carry bag. They cheapened out with meh quality and mediocre bags. They could've spend a few extra dollars on what protects the microphone. Now I have to go out of my way and get a tote custom made from Oso bags in order to protect my investment. Fail, you know better, you deserve better, you are better.

Now (finally!) with 32-bit float internal safety recording support
Wow! Still testing, but I’m shocked at the sound quality and user experience in this package for the money! I was on the fence about this vs its competitors until I saw they’d added 32-bit float in a firmware update three months ago - I looked at the release notes and saw that they had released two more updates since adding 32-bit float, rapidly pushing to make this product as good as they can quickly. I appreciate that kind of passion and support, so I added it my cart immediately. Works great with my Sennheiser MKE400 too! To be honest, as excellent as these mics are, Sennheiser is chasing DJI's taillights in this segment, but despite all of the advances of the newly released DJI Mic 3, Sennheiser's mics still have their own USB-C and locking mini-TRS ports and are a hundred dollars cheaper. Weird times when the European audiophile prestige brand is competing with the Chinese value-oriented gadget company on price, but that's where we are today...

Great Sound, Everything Else Frustrating
Got it — here’s a more casual, super chill version of your review: ⸻ Really wanted to love these. Sound quality? Fire. No surprise — it’s Sennheiser. But the functionality? Yeah… that’s where it lost me. Feels like they tried to make these do everything, and in the process, dropped the ball. For the price, the case feels kinda cheap, and using them was more frustrating than it should’ve been. Sometimes the case wouldn’t even charge the transmitter — which obviously sucks when you need it working right now. Bought these in Feb 2025, and by May? Basically done. Little pieces inside the case broke for no reason, and half the time I couldn’t tell if anything was charging or even on. It hurts to say it because the audio is so good, but until they fix the build and reliability, I’d go with something else. There’s better stuff out there for the same or even less money.

Sounds amazing and easy to use
I got a chance to use it today and I love rode but they just cannot touch the sound that Sennheiser mate, and I love how everything is all compacted and easy to use in charge

I’ve had the Sennheiser Profile Wireless 2-Channel All-In-One system on my desk and in my bag for about two weeks, and here’s how it stacks up in real use. First impression: it’s a tidy, no-nonsense kit that removes friction from the moment you open the case. The footprint is small, pairing is near-instant, and the controls are exactly where you expect them to be. With two transmitters and a compact receiver, I could cover a seated interview, a quick two-person piece to camera, or grab a mix of voice and room tone without juggling extra boxes. Level setting is straightforward, and once dialled in I rarely had to touch anything mid-shoot. Sound quality is the headline. Voices come through clean and even, with clear mids and sibilance that stays natural. The noise floor sits low enough that I wasn’t fighting hiss when lifting quieter passages. With the included windscreens fitted, plosives were kept under control and outdoor pickups stayed usable. The wireless link behaved well in normal city and event spaces, and latency was low enough that monitoring felt natural and lip-sync stayed tight. Range was ample for handheld vox pops, short walk-and-talks, and most indoor setups. The “all-in-one” part genuinely saves time. I could run straight into a camera via 3.5 mm, then swap to a phone or laptop over USB-C without rethinking the rig. That meant I could film, jump onto a call, then record a quick guide track in the same session. The receiver’s screen is easy to read at a glance, and the on-body clips feel reassuringly solid. Everything fits into a small pouch, so it slides into a busy kit bag without taking over. Battery life handled a day of stop-start recording comfortably, and top-ups were quick whenever I had access to power, so I never felt range-anxiety about the meters. In practice, what stood out was how little I thought about it. I could focus on the conversation, framing, and light, because the audio side just got on with the job. For solo shooting, that’s gold. If you care about reliable voice capture, quick setup, and gear that doesn’t pick fights on location, this system makes a strong case. A few small notes from testing. Gain staging was easiest when I set the receiver to a sensible mid-level and trimmed the camera or phone input down, which kept peaks under control. The windscreens do their best work when seated snugly, so it’s worth an extra second to check they’re properly on before you hit record. And if you’re moving between very different environments, a quick test clip pays off - not because the system struggles, but because you can lock in a consistent tone across the day. Minor drawbacks: like any 2.4 GHz wireless, very congested RF environments can still cause the odd wobble, so good placement and line of sight remain smart practice. Also, if you specifically want headline features such as 32-bit float recording or deep on-device EQ, this leans toward a streamlined, get-it-done workflow rather than chasing every spec. Bottom line: after two weeks, I trust it. It’s a grab-and-go kit that sounds grown-up, travels light, and lets you get on with making things.
