I buy this brand of cod liver oil every few months for my wife and I, to ensure we are getting sufficient Omega 3s and to a lesser degree, 9s. We've never gotten fish burps from them and for the price, that's mostly what I hope for. Especially when I compare this brand of fish oil to the FAR more expensive alternatives that I've purchased in the past. Yes, there may indeed be quality benefits from the more expensive brands but I just cannot justify $80 more every few months, especially when I've never been able to tell the difference between this, or the more expensive brands. Of course, I'm referring to the pilled versions, not the liquid. The liquid fish oils that I buy are super expensive and I consider them to be almost a treat because of the price, so I ration my use of these liquid-only oils. These NOW Supplement pills though, are my daily use oils and meet that need perfectly. Can't recommend them more, especially at this price point.

Most everything I've ever ordered from the NOW brand has been more than just acceptable. Cod Liver Oil is a challenge for any brand, in my opinion. Yes...there's a taste...slight (for me) but still there. The nutrients are strong, though. I find them very effective, mostly for skin health. Pain relief?? Hmmm...I've not experienced pain relief with cod liver oil, and I do have a couple of spinal injuries to judge this against. Maybe for minor pain and inflammation, but for me, personally, I don't feel it alleviating pain. Maybe my grade of pain is must more intense than some other individuals, who may say differently based on their own experience. This product isn't that expensive, it does have multiple benefits, in my opinion, so giving it a try makes sense to me.

I have been taking cod liver supplements since I was 25. these are one supplements which I never forget to take. I switched the supplier from my previous one to Now Supplements due to availability. The supplements are packed better and delivered on time always. google the benefits for Cod Liver oil and I would recommend to make these supplements part of your overall diet. I certainly recommend these.

Works well for health, especially assisting with gout prevention. One tip I would add is due to the heat waves here in Sydney, its advisable to refrigerate as leaving it out doesn't guarantee a sub 25C temp.... and pretty sure a rancid situation will occur.
