Hercules DS640BB Deluxe Flute/Clarinet/Oboe Stand

What can I say? It is made well, sturdy, and folds up for easy travel. When you buy a cheap beginners flute, they give you a cheap, flimsy stand. This was the first accessory I bought for my flute, and I couldn't be happier with the purchase.

This is a nice stable stand. I did *not* get it for either flute or clarinet though — it’s for my piccolo trumpet which generally fit clarinet stands. Much better to have the horn elevated from the floor vs my K&M in-bell that I had been using for it.

My wife just started, at 61, to start learning the flute. I direct a quintet at church and she wanted to play with us. In about 8-10 weeks of lessons, She has already begun to play with the group making us a sextet. It is easiest, and most organized, to leave instruments on a stand on the platform and it looks good and holds the instrument stable. it is lightweight and easy to carry. Great stand

This stand is by far the sturdiest flute stand I have seen. It is so simple and easy to set up. You just pull the legs apart and screw in the peg that your flute sits on. You don't need much force to move the legs, but they are firmly enough in place that they won't move around on their own. The peg has a velvet covering so your flute won't get scratched. The stand is not flimsy at all so I'm not afraid of it tipping over with my flute on it - it would have to be physically pushed to tip over. It came with a bag so you have a way of transporting it, too. A great buy!

I just received this stand today (three days earlier than the predicted delivery date) and it works perfectly for supporting my flute. My experience with the Hercules DS502B Flute/Clarinet peg (sold with their other flute/clarinet stands) is that the flute tends to wobble because of the shape of the peg, however the peg that comes with this stand (the Hercules DS602B DLX Flute/Clarinet peg ) is vastly superior. The flute sits on the peg perfectly perpendicular to the ground and does not wobble at all. The stand by itself is great as well. Despite the legs not being very long, it's sturdy and hefty, not that easy to knock over. It folds up into a an even smaller size, and comes with a bag to hold the base and the peg, which can be detached from the base for easy carrying and can be used with other Hercules stands (like the popular Hercules DS543BB 2 Clarinet/FLUT+1 PIC Stand ).

Great! Very sturdy compared to the generic kind, where I get worried that someone will knock over my flute.

I bought it for my Oboe, but it works great on my flute and clarinet too. It does not have the pop-out metal bobbers to secure the legs when it is extended so you have to make sure no one kicks/hits the legs while it sits next to you because they can close pretty easily. They grip pretty well to the carpet or floor so I don't see that being a problem yet. If needed I would buy this one again.

The stand is awesome, five stars. The carrying bag that comes with it is terrible and leaves yellow threads all over the velvet part of the stand. But you sort of need a carry bag, because the stand breaks down into two pieces to store or transport. I'll have to make or acquire a new drawstring bag. If Hercules made us such a quality stand, it's a shame they couldn't spend just a bit more on the carrying bag and make it halfway tolerable. Still worth it to get the excellent instrument stand itself.

It is absolutely real Hercule. You may find little pricey but the quality really deserves.

Bunun taşınabilir küçük modeli var ancak sürekli bir yerde durması gerektiğinde bu daha uygun. Türkiye'de bulamadım, firmalar getirmiyormuş. Yurt dışından sorunsuz ve hızlı geldi.

Bel supporto per il flauto traverso di mia figlia. Appoggio morbido e ben stabile. Sacchetto per riporlo e trasportarlo.

Super stable et de fait un peu lourd mais c'est pour un usage en station à la maison ou en orchestre à vents et donc aucun risque de basculement. Produit super qualitatif, comme les autres produits de la marque d'ailleurs...Parfait pour notre ysage
