Tempur-Pedic TEMPUR-Ergo Neck Pillow, Large Profile, White

The reviews on this were a bit mixed but when I realized most of the negative feedback was due to the firmness I gave it a shot and I am soooo happy that I did! I have a pinched nerve in my neck that has cause me issues for YEARS and I have spent hundreds of dollars trying every kind of pillow known to man from water pillows to feather pillows to regular memory foam pillows and even a few that are specifically for my kind of neck pain and while they are good they weren't helpful for my situation. THIS however works so good! Yes, it is Firm, but that is what I need. I can no longer sleep on my side for health reasons so if you are a side sleeper I can't say how well it would work, but for a back sleeper looking for neck relief from severe pain it is worth every penny! I got the medium profile and it is the perfect height. It is not too heavy but stays in place during the night to support my neck and head all night! I have finally found my perfect pillow! If you need support and sleep on your back I highly recommend!

I had one of these Tempur-Pedic pillows around 20-years ago and liked it, but switched to down pillows for some reason, and have been through many other types of pillows over the years. I have been waking up with neck pain and headaches for a long time. While the pillows I have feel comfortable when I go to sleep, they are not supportive while I sleep! Trying to save a few bucks, I ordered some other funky off-brand ergo pillow here, and it did not work for me. I ordered the medium Tempur-Pedic neck pillow, and it has done the trick! Neck is supported. No pain, no headaches. It just takes a minute or two when getting ready to sleep to get situated. I expect I will get that figured out. I'm just happy to wake up without my neck in knots! Before purchasing, I read many, many reviews. I saw a number of people complain that this pillow is "small". When you put it next to a standard pillow, yes, it is! But really, how much pillow does your head need? This pillow has plenty of room to lay on your back and turn side to side. I also saw people complaining about not being able to fit a regular pillowcase on it. Why? It has a comfortable washable, removable case. If it doesn't fit your decor, throw it in a closet during the day. Also yes, it is firm. But that is the point. The comfy mushy pillows won't support your neck. I highly recommend this pillow vs. the knockoffs. It keeps your neck more stable and supported while you sleep.

Although it is backed by Tempur-Pedic’s reputation for high-quality sleep products, I found this pillow to be very uncomfortable if you are a side sleeper. It wakes me up due to pain caused by the harsh firmness that so far has not eased up. I hoped it needed a break-in period, but it is just too firm for me. Granted, I don't like ultra-soft pillows, but for me, this one is just too firm. However, if I sleep on my back, it's fine. You’re paying a premium for the Tempur-Pedic name and memory foam quality, and if you don't mind a hard pillow if you're a side-sleeper, it will probably be good for you. Like most memory foam, it can feel warm during the night if you’re a hot sleeper. Bulkier than standard pillows, so it’s not easy to pack or carry around.

My cervical stenosis was flaring up earlier this year after I did some exercises improperly (bad posture). I was doing my PT exercises when my doctor suggested I try this pillow out. I purchased it and another pillow because after reading the reviews this pillow is good for neck pain but is really hard. I gave it a try and after a few weeks of using good posture while exercising and sleeping on this pillow my neck felt better. The pillow is designed well but it has one flaw it is hard and became uncomfortable to sleep on when my neck was feeling better. I switched to another pillow designed to keep my head in the proper position while sleeping because it was comfortable; yet, I still use this pillow when I experience some neck pain during the day. I like it but it would be nice if it wasn’t so hard. I would have given it 5 stars but I dropped a star for comfort. If asked does it work, I would say it worked for me.

I got the large pillow. I have some problems with my shoulder and hoped it would help take some pressure off. It did help. The pillow is a little firm but conforms as you rest. Excellent. Might want to get the medium if you don't have big shoulders.

I know that a pillow is a VERY highly personal opinion of comfort. No question in my mind since I am king of searching for a pillow for years that would give my neck the support that I need. I have a C1-C2 neck fusion from surgery after a car accident back in 1984. So I have literally been trying different pillows for over 40 years of my life. I have FINALLY found what I have been searching for with this Tempur-Pedic neck pillow. The first two nights I tried sleeping with the more shallow end of the pillow. That just worked so so. But then I used chatgpt to see if others found better results using the higher side of the pillow. Sure enough! It was very common for back sleepers like myself to sleep with the higher end. I make sure that my neck rests on the curve but my head dips slightly into the center as instructed. WOW!!! Great support finally! The pillow isn't totally broken in yet so it should get even better from this point. I know that no pillow works perfectly for everyone.....that just isn't reality. But for me.....I have FINALLY found the neck support and spinal alignment that ! absolutely need. FIVE STARS !!!

I had one of these for years and loved it. I bought this as the replacement and so much has changed for the worse. It’s about 6” narrower than my old one, so it looks absolutely minuscule on the bed. Feels supportive like my old one, but it’s too small to be comfortable during the night. Wish they made this in the wider size, but they’re probably cost-cutting. Not great value for money. It also went 15% off the day after I bought. If you’re set on this pillow, wait for a sale.

I’ve used this pillow for a few months now. It took a few nights to get used to but it’s really worthwhile. I used to sleep on feather pillows and it always gave me neck or shoulder ache. This pillow is very nicely supportive. It’s quite firm so you’ll need to get used to it. There are two neck heights! As a short, petite person, I use the side with the shorter neck height with no problem. I’m a mostly back and sometimes side sleeper. Sleeping on the side is a little bit awkward because your arm can’t really go under the pillow easily. But I don’t consider it a deal breaker.

I bought this as a replacement for the same Tempur Pedic neck pillow that I've been using for over 10 years. My old Tempur Pedic neck pillow was starting to feel less comfortable for me so I bought a new one. However, I had a guest who used my old neck pillow and had no complaints about it. I love this neck pillow so much that I try to bring it with me during trips (if possible). I prefer to use my own pillow when sleeping on hotels because the neck support that I get from this pillow makes a big difference in the quality of my sleep. I strongly recommend this product. However, the medium size may be too small for some people.

I had one similar for 20 yrs and had a hard time to get rid off it because it was perfect, but with the new one I’m so happy. It adjust at support your neck really fast. Worth the money definately
