Oriarm’s Long Jin tea is an excellent choice for everyday drinking. I highly recommend it!
1: Packaging - It comes in a thick ziplock bag, it is economical yet effective to preserve the freshness and flavor.2. Dry tea smell test - Though I can smell Long Jing’s distinct aroma, it is a little light.3. Wet tea smell test – After gently rinse with hot water, it definitely releases a lot more authentic Long Jin scent. Also, a fresh tea smell confirms it is from current year.4. Dry tea leaf shape – They are from plant’s tip parts, consistent, and fresh.5. Dry tea color - It has a pretty brownish green color that confirms its freshness also the proper “dry stir fry” skills.6. In hot water - Leafs are consistent, and are healthy and tender leafs. It release a light green color and a beautify aroma.Summary - I definitely will enjoy drinking it everyday!-- A bit more background if you want to read more --As a programmer, I drink lots of tea everyday. I used to buy them directly from China, but logistics was a pain and quality is polarized and unpredictable. Recently, I discovered there are tea sellers on Amazon. I decided to give them a try. I set my first attempt’s budget at tea under $4/oz range. This price range is good enough for average people’s daily consumption.I also tried Cha Wu, FullChea. To my surprise, they all deserve a 5 star for tea under $4 per oz grade. I am very happy to see these sellers are serious to establish a brand in US Amazon. My best wishes to all of them. I won’t demand any improvement, I only hope for consistency!fyi, my picture of tea in hot water is just for review purpose. To properly drink this type of tea, you need to use a filter that you can take tea out after 20 second.

Ouality Tea at Excellent Price
Long jin is the most famous green tea of China and the tea given to visiting dignitaries. I used to buy long jin from Hong Kong. It was very good but very expensive. As with wine, the long jin grown in different locations has degrees of flavor. This long jin is not quite so good as what I was getting before, but it is the only long jin I will buy now because it is being sold for only a small fraction of the price I was paying, and it is still has the lovely long jin taste. Green tea is delicate and should be steeped 180° for 30-45 seconds. I have a thermostatted pot for heating the water. Just don't boil it. And for goodness sake don't steep it for three minutes! It will ruin the delicate flavor and make the taste metallic and awful.

I am SO DISAPPOINTED with this tea
Unlike any dragon well I've had before. Tastes spoiled. Not sure if this is just a bad batch or the standard for this brand, but I will try to return it. The brand I bought previously was twice as expensive as this but delicious. In the future I won't try to save money on something as important to my life as tea!

Awesome tea, awesome company
First of all, I really like how this tea is shipped in a styrofoam box wrapped in bubble wrap. It makes me feel like the tea is really safe in there; and it is! When I open it up, the leaves are long and unbroken. In fact, I often have to break them in half in order to make them fit in my steeper. Also, I like that the company emailed me to let me know the yuqian tea was available, which is great because I haven’t had fresh tea since I lived in China 6 years ago. Long jing is my favorite but this company inspired me go ahead and buy tie guan yin too. Best quality I’ve had in 6 years.

Strange taste
Not the best dragonwell. All other Oriarm teas have been great. I think there was something off with this batch.

Test
I have been ordering this tea for last three years. The last order was NOT what I have been drinking .The leaves hardly open up and it feels like stale. Some thing is not right so I like to stop buying and looking for alternatives.I like to have you replace my last order with good tea….not refund. It must be good otherwise refund my money for last order.Thank you.

Good quality price
The tea is decent for the price but if you're looking for the fragrant pulmonary tea from dragon well tea valley it's not quite it. I went there back in early 2000's and still looking for the the fragrance that come's back after you ingest the tea maybe the Ming Quan quality? For an everyday tea this one is pretty good imo.

Excellent green tea
Delicious tea. Packaging was really good also.I once worked with a friend who had immigrated from China and he shared a delicious green tea with me.I believe it was Long Jing tea since it looked similar but perhaps the leaves were larger. I can't confirm what kind it was since the bag was written completely in chinese.Point being this guy was serious about his tea and would have family members send it to him from back home. I remember him mentioning a bag would cost 100$ or more. This tea tastes very similar and reminds of those tasty cups I have not had in a decade. Enjoy!
