I guess you could use this a glorified (or strange) tiki shot glass, but this is overall not very useful as a beverage glass. The concept, I should add, is awesome, and I thought it would be larger and more utilitarian while also having the visual element. As it is, however, the shell is too thin, and looks broken actually. It's hard to sip at any particular point, as you will get dribbles because of the ridges in all parts of the shell. To top it off, you're only getting max 1.3oz (volume test shown) before it goes everywhere...to say nothing of when you attempt to move what is essentially a very flat glass. I might get one or two shots of this in photography just for the visual element on some nautical themed shot (not a drink), but otherwise, it's just not super useful...perhaps as decoration? The stem is sparkling and vibrant....too bad, they should have managed to find a smoother, deeper, and higher volume shell, and they would have pulled this off! Overall, a 2 for me, I'm sorry to report.

This is incredibly over the top, but only in the best possible way. The heavy base is cut crystal. A glass stem stuffed with tiny rhinestones fits into it. And of course, the piece-de-resistance, the bowl. It is a natural shell. This glass really is fabulous. Just be aware, the shell doesn't hold much liquid, only an ounce or so, so it is meant more for shots than for mixed cocktails.
