I always buy in multipack as it saves much more money. Washes well and leaves a subtle smell on clothes after cleaning.

Some things in life are enjoyable to buy and some things plainly are not. No matter how pretty the product and how bright and bold the actual washing detergent is, it will always be a grudge purchase. No one likes to have dirty smelly clothes and wash powder / tablets / capsules are a necessity that makes a hole in everyone's weekly grocery budget that could be better spent on something interesting such as cakes or exotic vegetables that you have to look up how to cook. Along with Ariel, Fairy and Bold, Persil is one of the big brands that dominant the market for detergents. It is owned by global consumer products giant Unilever who are experts at branding and marketing. It is refreshing to see these capsules at such reasonable value., they work out 15p each which is an absolute bargain. Even the dodgy imitation ones you find in sub prime supermarkets are more than these, and the great thing about Persil is that you can guarantee that the product is going to be high quality. These capsules come in a rubbery gossamer coated casing containing a different brightly coloured gel like liquids in each of the four compartments. And very funky they look too with purple, green, white and grey swirls of gu. These things wash your clothes nicely too and have a pleasant smell without being too overbearing. I have no idea what happens to the plasticated casing on the outside of the capsule after you put in in the washing machine. Maybe it bio-de-grades, maybe it disappears by magic, this is one of lives great mysteries like the Great Sphinx at Giza, the Bermuda Triangle or the meaning of the Voynich Manuscript.

Decided a bulk buy mission in January. So far only 1 pack used and its mid Feb, so value is good. Only downfall is one pod must have burst in transit or packing and they are a little bit gooey, bit that can't be helped and doesn't effect the use. I will purchase again for a saving and a good stock up.

I used to only every purchase Fairy non bio liquid as my husband suffers with eczema and is extremely sensitive. I would have never purchased anything else but my brother said try Persil non bio it’s great for my nephews sensitive skin. He gave me some of his and I randomly washed clothes and bedding in Persil, as I didn’t want my husband to say he had a flare down to the change. He didn’t, result for me because I love the fresh smell. I have also noticed and difference in the brightness of my whites and clothes are so soft. I live in a hard water area and the results are great. The capsules are so convenient and perform great with only one, because I am very heavy handed and fill the washing balls up, so I am also saving money with these. I am now a subscriber so don’t have to worry about running out :) I do wish they wasn’t so attractive on the eye because they do look edible. Please keep out of reach of children because the packaging isn’t child proof!!!

These are miracle workers! I always used to use the colour gel however switched to this due to it working out a bit cheaper. There seems to be a huge difference in performance as my washing definitely comes out looking a lot more cleaner than it was previously. It removes stains a whole lot more than the colour gel did. Due to having young children, I am sure you can imagine the extent of some of the stains despite my best efforts! The dreaded stains/marks at the top of dresses, for example, are being completely removed whereas there would always be a trace left before when using the gel alternative. I didn't think that the box would last me that long due to usually putting on several washes each day however I've been proved wrong! The box is secure also and as long as you store it safely, as you would with any other product, it wouldn't cause an issue. Definitely recommend these and I shall be buying more now I've been converted!
