BRONZEDOG Stainless Steel Wire Basket Dog Muzzle for Rottweiler, Large Dogs

We have at least 5 other muzzle that we tried before this one. Most of them were difficult to adjust and slipped off of our dog. This one fit well and didn't budge from her face. Very well worth the cost. Great product.

We bought this for our wolfdog, fit is on point and was the best muzzle, per her, compared to other muzzles that were plastic or silicone (she HATED the silicone one even though it looked so comfy). Although she is not an aggressive dog per se (aside from being picky about which dogs she likes in general [huskies are her fave]), she became aggressive towards the new husky puppies that we had purchased for her to be her companions after her bestfriend passed away and she became depressed. Though the puppies loved her, she didn't and would exhibit aggression. So to break the ice, we bought several muzzles and this one was the one she preferred the most. She didn't paw at it as much, the cage did not poke or choke her, it was easy to give her treats, she still was able to drink water, just not bite the puppies. It sat in her nose bridge comfortably and it was long enough to have space between the cage and the tip of her nose (some muzzles were not long enough and her nose would press on the cage, big no-no). She also had a hard time getting it off so that was a plus on our end. I will say that, being a metal cage and all, it does hurt when she pressed her head onto my leg or bumps it on us, but it's a price I'm willing to pay so that eventually she just calms down and accepts the puppies, which after 1.5 months she finally did and no longer needs the muzzle. I still keep it because on outings with other dogs, she's can be a little unpredictable. It does make her look like Hannibal, but that's a plus really lmao. TLDR; if you have a large, long nosed dog and need a muzzle, this is the best. It's truly durable, sits more comfortably compared to other muzzles, sized just right so that it has room between the nose and cage, and difficult for dogs to remove. Highly recommend!

I've had a very hard time finding a muzzle that will fit my male euro doberman (100lbs). The recommended sizes are always too small. He has a very thick and long snout so I decided to try this one out and so far it's been the best fitting muzzle I purchased for him. It's a little long but I leave the top strap across his forehead a little loose so the muzzle doesn't get into his eyes. He is able to pant and that was the most important factor for me. He cannot take this muzzle off. It's well made and sturdy. He can't drink water with it but he doesn't wear it for extended periods and if he has to I take I give him breaks and take it off when needed. I did end up having to make an extra hole on the side because the muzzle was too wide around for him but it was easy to do. Overall I'm fairly happy with it considering it's not custom made and it's very hard to find long snouted breeds a proper muzzle that they can pant in.

Finally something that seems to work. My husky chewed right through the last two, name brand muzzles and then chewed up other stuff. I told my kids I’d he can get through this one there’s no hope for us. It fits perfectly for his size and is very solid in the metal areas. The straps seem to be leather so I hope they will hold up to time and wear but for now the adjustments you can make give us the flexibility to change how it sits if we’re need to. My dog can breathe, pant, drink water and bark if he needs to with no effort. I find it ease to slip on and over his ears because he is a gentle, cooperative dog. So far the few times we’ve used it, it has been stable on his nose and he hasn’t even tried to get this one off. He looks pitiful but cute and since he’s not in it for very long periods of time he doesn’t seem to mind it. I almost feel like it gives him a sense of calm.

Bought this for my mastiff that is on prednisone which is making him want to eat everything including mud and grass while outside. Wanted a basket muzzle that was comfortable for him to wear while outside, something breathable and not totally restricting but would discourage him from eating things while out alone. This fits him perfectly, he can even pant while he has it on and frankly his face is huge, he’s got jowls for days. However, it is not the most durable, I’ve actually gone through 3 because either the straps have broken or the bars. Granted he is wearing it for short bursts multiple times a day, so it may be better for the purpose muzzles generally serves such a vet visit or such!

Not comfortable at all, the leather cuts on the edges of his face, and he pawed at it only once, and his toe got stuck in the metal and the sound he made broke my heart. To answer the questions from Amazon: it is adjustable, it looks scary. The material is rough. I would not use it for training. The size was not accurate.

Easy to use and easy to adjust as needed. Dog didn't like it but I didn't like him eating trash lol.

I purchased this muzzle for my reactive GSD, specifically for vet visits. The muzzle looks a bit scary at first but it definitely works better than any other muzzle I’ve tried.

El bozal le quedó un poquito grande a mi perrito, pero gracias a eso, ya no es mordelón con la gente 😅. Lo difícil es abrocharlo porque tiene muchas hebillas

Finally a muzzle the DOES fit German Shepherds! I only use the muzzle as my dog has a boomer ball (which is very hard, thick plastic) and I needed the nose protection. This muzzle lasted well considering it was being smashed against a bowling ball for an every day for many, many months. It fits really well, plenty of adjustment on the straps and my dog is very comfortable wearing it. 2nd one I've bought now and I'll stick with this one! Used as it's supposed to used (and not how I use it), it's going to last years. Highly recommend!!!
