I make a lot of sourdough bread for my family, loaves that typically have dark, hard, and crunchy crusts. I've found that as I work through a typical one-kilo loaf using a standard bread knife, cutting the remaining loaf into edible slices gets harder as the loaf gets smaller. Twice in the last year I sliced my finger instead, requiring stitches both times. So I bought this machine hoping to avoid any more trips to the ER. And it works beautifully! This is the ideal machine for slicing tough, hard, crusty loaves into thin sandwich-sized pieces safely and easily. Works every time. This is the best addition to my bread-making kitchen in years. I have no negative comments, if fact. If you regularly cut up homemade or artisan breads, especially those with hardened or even stale crusts, this device works perfectly every time. Wonderful machine!

Honestly it’s a lot better than I expected. The suction cups for the counter is a great idea and they work really well. The manual crank is easy, requiring a lot less muscle than a knife. The sourdough bread slices come out picture perfect and I love the fact than you can choose how thick of a slice you want. Totally worth the price. Buy it!

If you ever find yourself upside down and needing to cut yourself some bread. Suction cups are fantastic! knife is sharp and cut flawless slices of bread and the suction cups are fantastic! If I had to climb the taipei with Alex Honnold I would want these strapped to my hands and feet. seriously this is a game changer for any home baked bread. easy fast and consistent.

I wish I would have found this earlier in my life! It makes slicing bread so much easier. I select the thickness and every single slice is exact and perfect. The suction is very strong. The design is perfect, well made and will last forever. Great value for the money.

I just started out in the sourdough journey. And quickly realized the pain in the ass to cutting the loaves. Maybe I’m just bad at making sourdough lol. When it comes to this slicer it makes life extremely easy. Out of the box it’s ready to cut with no assembly required. I would give it 5 stars except for 2 things. The slice size adjuster isn’t very stable. It wobbles around even after adjusting the bolt securing it. The second thing would be it has a wider hole for crumbs to fall through and the blade to be able to go through the deck. It being so wide sometimes the bread will get sucked into it making you have to mess with it to get it out. All in all it is a great product to make life easy. I would recommend the purchase.

Fantastic slicer. It works as I was hoping. Slicing is so easy without smashing bread. Nice even slices. The slicer doesn't slide on the counter as the suction cups keep the unit secure.
