IdakekiyDual Carabiner Keychain Mutil Tool with Key Chain Bottle Opener for Keys

This little opener / keychain is a delight. I don't carry a lot of keys. I don't need a screwdriver/wrench/seat-belt-cutter/metric-to-english-conversion-scale in my pocket. I'm sure there are those who do, but that ain't me! I need a bottle opener and a place to keep the keys to me Fiat! This sturdy, compact unit does both of those superbly. Keys stay put where you put them on one of the two loops. Having two "halves" makes it easy to toss one key to the parking guy or gal and keep the others. I have already given the second one that comes along to a fellow at a picnic who asked if I had an opener and could he borrow it. Made him grin big to get this, and I saw him putting his keys on it before he left the park. This is a great product.

*** initially rated as two stars but changed my mind. Please scroll down for new review***The idea is great, but this product is so tiny that it is *very* difficult to hook it on belt loops. It will not hold more than 2 or three keys without additional key rings. With additional key rings, it is quite challenging to find the actual carabiner buckle. The picture with the car clicker is clearly altered so that the buckle looks larger than it actually is.***edit 2019.02.17.***A few days after i wrote the above review idakey cuatomer support contacted me and boy they do take your reviews serious. They sent me the right size of buckle and it is everythig i expected originally. I am happy with it as it keeps the keys secure and it is easy to hook on my pants. Sometimes the key lock will byte my fingers (hence the 4 stars) but with the proper technique you can easil get hooking. The bottle opener is sturdy and functional and overall it feels great and looks good. Great customer service, thanks!

I purchased a pair of these the other day so I can hook the RF fob for my car to my pants and keep it away from all my keys. I wanted to do this to prevent my keys from inadvertently setting off the car's panic alarm or unlocking it. The Idakey caught my eye because of its one-piece design. I wanted something in the carabiner style, but wanted my key(s) separated from the loop hooking to my pants. It works well, although if you're blindly trying to attach it to a belt loop on your pants, the hook is somewhat small-ish, so it's not (for me) a quick, fluid motion. Also it's real easy to pinch your thumb in the bail (? - the part that swings back and forth closing the loop) pivot. I purchased the black version. I'm curious to see how the coating wears with time. It's not painted. I'm assuming it's anodized, but I wasn't aware stainless could be anodized. It's magnetic, so it is definitely a steel variant. I am very intrigued by its one-piece design! I have no idea how they could machine something like this with such tiny features! I have to show it to the mechanical engineers at work and get their thoughts!Update - 2017-10-11I did show this to the MEs at work. They said these are most likely wire-EDM'd. If you haven't heard of the wire-EDM machining process, do a YouTube search - it's pretty impressive!

Keep in mind that this listing is for the SMALLER variant. I purchased this thinking that there was only one size. Turns out there is a bigger one, too. I would hope that the larger one is more useful than this one. It is well made, sturdy and looks like it could genuinely become something I take with me everywhere, if it only weren't so damn small!This one is under 2" long. The upper ring area is so small that it will pinch the belt loop if you don't rotate it before re-clipping it. That won't work for me since I regularly clip my keys on and off of my belt. For the car, the storage unit, work cabinets, etc, etc.The bottle opener is absolutely tiny! It's barely large enough to get over the edge of the cap. It does it and can open a bottle after rotating it a few times and mangling the cap, so it's not useless and can be used in a pinch, just not very convenient for frequent use. But it looks like it was designed to be bigger, then shrunk down until it was just barely large enough to function.The clip can pinch you, but honestly isn't a big deal to me. If it does it too frequently, I'm not afraid to take a file to it and make it a little less grabby. I'm not in it for the fashion, I want the thing to work!

I really like the design of this product, especially switching from a regular carabiner which I've lost keys off of many times. I would have to lose the whole carabiner now to lose my keys.That being said, because I previously used a regular sized carabiner, it does make this one feel almost inadequately small; the clip itself being the problem. Where I could easily clip my old carabiner onto a belt loop or the strap of my bag, this one takes more finesse.Customer service is great though, very responsive and professional, and it leaves no doubt in their 100% guarantee.Overall it's well built, it feels like it'll last, and it serves its purpose. I'll be upgrading to the larger size for my convenience, but this is a good keychain.

The Idakekiy keychain is what I needed in my EDC. I wanted an aesthetic yet functional keychain and that's what I got. It's small, light-weight, well designed, and functional. As you can see in the picture, I clipped my car key fob, house keys and my edc flashlight to a mini carabiner (which you can purchase on amazon as well, the brand is Nite Ize), and then I attached it to my Idakekiy keychain. This makes it easier for me to detach one of the items from the whole keychain if I need to. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and the quality definitely exceeds the cost of this keychain.

Like the design, size, light weight, and the price. A few minor issues i have (but not show stoppers): 1) weak spring tension for the first 1/3 inward, 2) side to side play at the opening part w/ light force, 3) not enough thickness for easier operation, and 4) skin pinches as mentioned by other reviewers.

Me gusto su tamaño, su color y el material. Sin embargo, para mi gusto debiera estar al revés, la parte mas amplia arriba para poder insertarla más fácilmente en el pantalón. Por eso le pongo 4 estrellas.

Nicely designed and practical... Would have liked to have a bit more thickness... But still very good.
