I ordered this slack line as a present for my little sister's birthday. She's 23. To be honest i knew she wouldn't like it. It's not that there's anything wrong with it, it's just that she can't really stand anything that is a bit 'scene' or that some people might do for image reasons. I kind of think she got this from me, as I'm a bit of a cynic myself. It's kind of sad though, because there are lots of things that are great fun, but that fall into this category. For example, I love backpacking. It obviously has a bit of a scene, and I can imagine that my sister would groan if she came across a few of the people I've met form around the world, practising yoga on a beach in India, or playing violin on a roof top in Buenos Aires etc. ANY surfer. But, you know, you'd miss out on a lot with that mindset, right? Anyway, I did suspect slack lining might fall into this category, but I thought I'd test her out. So she opens the slack line and she says 'I might do this alone, but I would never do it with people who slack line. They are pretentious idiots'. So now I've got the slack line. I took it down to Eastville Park to have a go by myself. It's pretty tough getting started without a hand to hold on to. To be honest, it would be more fun with some company - as it is it's a little boring. Has anyone else had this problem with this product?

Had plenty of use from this line and despite the price It's really well built.
