Camera delivers excellent pictures and videos, and the quality with the 20x zoom is far better than I had hoped. Going to preset positions is accurate, and includes zoom level. Motion detection is very sensitive.Camera is ethernet only...no wifi...but supports POE (power-over-ethernet) so only a single cable is needed if you use a POE injector.It's a bit slow to respond to manual commands to move around and zoom, but moves briskly to preset positions. Speed of moving can be adjusted.The configurations screen contain a lot of settings...most of which aren't described in the documentation. However, I just told Copilot the make and model, and the AI walked me through all of them.

This camera has a true 4k picture with a low bandwidth . I don't use it for tracking, I have tòo many trees blowing in the wind . It moves slow in manual but faster with presets. Works well with Blue Iris. This is my 3rd one of these, I have 3 other brands. Slowly replacing with these. I catch animals that come across my driveway at night on this camera, porcupine, coyotes, moose, cats, and you name it. All Crystal clear.

Arrived used. Dirty fingerprints all over device. Poorly repackaged. Unit dead on arrival. Returned immediately.

Very good build quality. Zoom is fantastic. Night vision is very good at close range but gets washed out when lights are involved - not sure that there is any way around that with any normal camera though. Built in micro SD card (up to 256 GB - lasts about a week) is a great plus, but a little hard to find - see the attached pictures for location. Windows software is kind of iffy - records great, but live view is laggy and program has some bugs. There are Android programs available that are much smoother for live viewing. Overall unbeatable value for the price and features! Definitely worth buying.

This is a really nice camera. It has great night vision capability using, I guess, a high quality sensor.I have been using PTZ cameras since the '90's and these newer cameras have, of course, blown the old ones away.There are a lot of choices out there and other cameras might be just as good but let me tell you from experience,customer service is more important than which camera you choose, in my opinion.I contacted customer service because I was unclear on an advanced option and they were GREAT. They responded in less than a day and explained everything to me as well as providing me with more information that I requested.I have a total of eight PTZ cameras in use and have tried to just get a couple of customer service reps to respond to my simple request and NOTHING! I have sent several requests for help through the Amazon link and still nothing.So, I guess that you can tell how much stock I put into good customer service. You can trust that Vikylin customer service will be there if you should need help.
