Great for the price, but flawed.
These headphones are great value for money! The noise cancelling is perfect for planes, minimizing the engine rumble to quite whisper, making it way easier to sleep, and the recovery time after a long trip much shorter.I travel back and forth between Australia and the UK for work, so i spend a lot of time using these puppies. The battery life is absolutely insane! I have done the 30hr+ trip dozens of times and only ONCE on the last leg did the battery warn me it was getting low. I plugged them in for about 10mins and was fine for the rest of the trip. The sound quality is great (not perfect, but pretty bloody good for what they are).Having the 3.5mm input is perfect for planes, so that you can use noise cancelling whilst watching the inflight entertainment.Another great feature is being able to connect to multiple Bluetooth devices at once - My MacBook and iphone. The headphones automatically jump back and forth depending on which device is sending audio. One more thing before the negative - these are incredibly comfortable. Often cheaper headphones lack the padding on the top, or take a while to ‘wear in’. These are comfortable from the get-go. I’ve worn them for 24hrs+ multiple time with no complaints.HOWEVER, and this is big. I bought these having seen my coworker (also does a lot of travel) using these for about 6 months. A few months after i got mine, i noticed he had taped up the sides of his. Apparently his hinges had broken. Low and behold, mine broke there a few months later, and need to be taped up, otherwise they don’t sit on your head, or the headphone just hangs down from the internal cable. It also catches and pulls out your hair. These headphones were so good up until that point, but doesn’t merit replacing every 10 months or so. Unfortunately this happened just after I bought my wife a pair as well :(3 Stars, should have been 5.FYI I paid $84 for these.

Fine, just not fine enough...
These are decent noise canceling headphones, especially considering the price, but I just couldn't justify keeping them. A friend let me use his Bose QC15 (wired noise canceling headphones), and while it's not quite fair doing a direct comparison between the expensive Bose and these affordable iDeaPlay, they still didn't live up to my expectations. There are cheaper alternatives out there, but decided against going for the cheapest option. The iDeaPlay build quality feels plasticky/toy-sih to me. The noise canceling capability is OK, however it creates a bit of a hum. I found myself turning the ANC off because it was uncomfortable to my ear. I could also hear that the sound quality wasn't as good as I wished it to be. Again, for the price, these aren't too bad, just not for me.I returned them and am trying the Linner NC90 instead. So far I prefer the Linner. They aren't perfect either but they are a little better for my taste.Update 11/16/2018:I have already returned this pair of headphones but I wanted to make a note about returning the Linner NC90 also. I've used them for a couple weeks now, and unfortunately they aren't significantly better than this set of headphones. I still prefer the NC90, but not as much as when I first got them. They became a little more uncomfortable to wear for extended periods of time and I started hearing more of a soft white noise when the NC90's ANC was turned on. I will be going back to the Bose QC 15 and buying a bluetooth adapter. While the Bose were significantly more expensive when they were introduced, they are still better with comfort, sound quality and ANC (though not by much for ANC compared to the NC90) than both sets of headphones.I also want to acknowledge iDeaPlay/iDeaUSA for taking time to read this review and giving me the impression that they will take these notes into account. This little details speaks a lot for a company.

best pair of noise cancelling headphones on a budget!
I chose these headphones over the sony mx3's do to price and specs. These have bigger sound drivers then the mx3's and have aptx.It sits firmly over my head, it gets a bit uncomfortable for my ears after a sum amount of hours but it helps with noise isolation. The noise cancellation did better than my expectations and really blocked out newyork subway roars. The sound quality is good over all but lacks bass. I love em so much I offered to get my friend a pair for Christmas after he was impressed trying them on.

Best value.
The headphones save $200 for me. This is my first time using the noise cancelling headphone. At the very beginning I was interested in the BOSE headphones. However, it was too expensive and over-budgeted. Finally I give this a try and it is performing above my expectation. I've been had enough with the noise in New York subway, everytime I have to increase the volume again and again. With this product, I can easily keep my volume at around 30-40%. Plus, when I am using this on the lecture videos at home, it works perfectly and blocks the noise away. At least, I cannot hear my families' talk and it does keep myself concentrated.

Pleasantly surprised.
Great value for the price. Picked it up recently for a couple long plane trips and it did a surprisingly good job at cutting out background noise on the trip. Crying kids won’t get eliminated but basic static ambient noise was reduced drastically. Sound quality is also good - better without the noise canceling turned off but respectable with it on. I’m used to studio headphones and these aren’t AKG K270’s but for the price all but audio snobs will be happy.Battery life has been very impressive. I’ve been using them around the house lately and they make great general use headphones.

Most comfortable over ear headphones I have ever worn!
Well, to start, I really like the sound from the V402s. The base especially. It's not overwhelming or loose and distorted, but sounds controlled and tight. The NC is above what I need it for (normal household sounds), so I usually don't use. VERY comfortable headphones that fit entirely over my ears. That is so important to me. I really don't even feel then on. If you are looking for a high comfort level and a really good sound from an under $100 set of headphones, these are it!
