I've owned the non-miter version before and loved it. The miter version is a major step forward, although it is very expensive. If you want professional results, sometimes you need to be willing to pay for it. One major advancement in this model is the "slow" startup. This greatly reduces the startup current and greatly reduces the motor wear, power surge, and risk. It makes perfectly clean and precise cuts without any sparks or heat damage.

If you have ever cut metal before this will blow your mind, "OMG" Indiscribable! I had a minor issue with my shipment from seller, and they resolved it instantly when I notified them.. this is a great product and an awesome company 👍

Evolution products always come damaged! This is my 3rd order (4 total) and they are always damaged and or missing parts. The boxes are destroyed and the base to the saw is cracked. Bad enough that the bar holding the 2 clamps will not sit flush. Do not buy their products unless you can buy it in a store. Im tired of how they package and send items. GET IT TOGETHER EVOLUTION!

I love this saw, easy to set up, easy to use, safe, and looks fantastic. I am blown away by how easy it is to get perfect 90 degree cuts effortlessly. Just spend the money, you will not be disappointed

I more or less knew what I was getting into before I bought it. A buddy of mine had one about 6 or 7 years back when they first came out, basic model. It’s a hefty price tag but worth it. Can’t say I notice much difference in speed over a traditional abrasive saw but i don’t push it anywhere near as hard either, it’s smooooth. Just go slow and let the saw do its thing. Cut some 4” schedule 40 (1/4”) pipe with it. The noticeable difference is being able to pick the piece up bare handed IMMEDIATELY after the cut. It absolutely does make sparks, but very few in comparison to an abrasive. It also does make a hell of a mess and I need to make sure my 2 year old doesn’t ever go in the garage without shoes now… but the cuts have virtually no blade walk. 2 cuts were exactly square all the way around on both faces. One cut had a single plane that had .003” blade walk over 4.5” distance. Thats pretty impressive. I’ve used $20,000 cold cut saws that took nearly 40 hours to shim everything right during install and still be off more than this saw. Time will tell on the blades but after a couple dozen cuts, zero noticeable blade wear. For a $1,000 saw on a portable dolly table… it just doesn’t get any better than this. Only cons are, I wish it had a shop vac port and some skirts like my m18 miter to catch some of the mess, and I wish it had a dual clamping fence instead of screw clamps.

Great cut, very accurate. Using in an industrial setting, holding up well so far.

They are great saws, I give the product 5 stars, the shipping however is terrible. Ordered on December 11, was scheduled for delivery the 19th. It’s now the 29th and still no saw. Not sure who’s to blame but my guess is it’s Fed Ex. It’s always an issue when items are shipped using them. Ordered cancelled and refund requested so we will see how that goes
