The appearance and quality of this product is fantastic. Our mini split condenser is in a very visible location so this cover is a big improvement aesthetically. The bad news: We live in Florida and during the summer I’ve noticed our a/c unit seems to be working a lot harder with the fan running at a much higher speed all the time compared to before we put the cover on. The cover and a/c unit are also getting extremely hot and the inside unit is not blowing as cold. I took the cover off as a test and the system went back to normal operation. I really wanted this cover to be a viable solution but I’m worried that at a minimum it’s driving up our electric bill and also potentially doing damage to our a/c unit.

Double check your measurements before buying. Good Quality product.

Do not waste your money…..it will hamper your unit’s efficiency. Fits nicely, looks good…but it restricts external airflow causing our split air ground unit to overheat. Air conditioning function severely hampered. Removed it….air conditioning instantly improved, cooling our sunroom 12 degrees cooler in under an hour.
