Great model for the money!
Really great kit. Fun to build, good instructions, and high quality parts. Metal parts and highly detailed wheels are such a nice touch. I hope to see more models from Mattel and soon!

This is so cool!
I can only describe this with superlatives! The 1:12 scale allows for all sorts of details and the kit designers took great advantage. Opening gullwing doors, trunk, and the hood has a release button. The front wheels turn by the steering wheel.Building the kit was a joy. "This is so cool!" was often repeated. The assembly book is over 300 pages of clear instructions, and the bricks are divided up into over 20 bags. Each phase of building involves one bag of small bricks and one bag of larger bricks, and not so many pieces that you spend more time digging around for the right brick than actually building. Throw in some nice metal pieces, some customization options, and you have a great model, well worth the price. The 1:64 bonus diecast car is perhaps the nicest one out there.
