Product Description Peet's Big Bang Medium Roast Coffee is our signature medium roast created to celebrate Alfred Pete and our 50th anniversary. Some people describe Alfred Pete as the "Big Bang" of craft coffee. When he founded her shop in Berkeley in 1966, he changed America's expectation for the depth, body and taste of the cup. And its pursuit of greatness will never stop. In 2016, he honored his legacy by taking a bold step. Just like Mr. Pete's pioneering dark roast, this blend expands the potential of coffee: full flavor, bold original, and a medium body perfect roast. If you love the unique taste of Colonel Dickasson, you can find the spirit of relatives in the Big Bang. This blend is made from the same premium coffee as Major Decason but is a twist thanks to the aromatic citrus fruits of Ethiopia's supernatural heaven. This coffee is still the perfect way to honor the man who has inspired us Safety Warning After opening, please place the coffee in an airtight container at room temperature to ensure optimal freshness, avoid sunlight Review: A nice, smooth coffee. I have GERD, so I tend to have a hard time with most store-bought coffee because of the acidity, even medium roasts that promise to be smooth. So, I went on a Google hunt for the smoothest store-bought coffee, and Peet's was the most recommended. I was nervous, but very pleasantly surprised. It's not false advertising; this is the smoothest, least acidic, least bitter store-bought coffee I've ever had. The price is about what I expected, but it's worth it for a GERD sufferer who loves coffee. Review: A good size, mellow taste.

I love coffee a lot and I decided to try some of this Peet's coffee after having tried some from my local grocery. I hadn't ordered any off Amazon and thought I would to see if it was any different for any reason. It wasn't significantly different, obviously being the same product. However, you never know. I like this one. Quite a lot. I wouldn't say that it is my favorite, however, it's definitely something that I enjoyed trying. I like to switch up my coffee every so often because I feel like I get a little bored sometimes. And I like to see if any of them have slightly different flavor. I have found many coffees just taste the same, like burnt coffee. So I like to find something that has a nice aroma and flavor both before it's brewed and after. I have also tried other Peet's coffees. I found that this coffee was one that I enjoyed enough that I would try it again. I have found the ones that I've tried to be worth trying and enjoying more than once. I've been sticking mostly with a medium roast for just a slightly more balanced coffee. I found that sometimes the dark roasts (any brand) are roasted a little bit too much and lose some of the flavor and the caffeine content is also slightly different as well. The light roasts (any brand )also happened to be roasted more than I would consider to be light and are closer to a medium roast at best. I do love coffee very much. I might call myself a connoisseur. I used to do my own roasting of green coffee beans from various places in the world and I enjoyed doing that very much. However, it just is not something that I'm able to do currently and so I've been trying out various different coffees that I can find available. The coffee from Peet's is one that I would try again, especially when considering the options being what they are and I would choose this over some of the other so-called very popular brands that you would find anywhere.
