Danish Kringle Pair - Pecan and Cream Cheesecake

These were so fresh and delicious!! Plan on buying again.

My grandfather was Danish, so Kringle has been a family treat since forever. These Kringles are perfect in every way. Light ephemeral crust. Just the right amount amount of filling that is not too sweet. I love them. I don't always get to a grocery that sells these. They are not sold everywhere. I am happy Amazon caries them. I will be ordering again next year. By the way, a piece about 2 inches wide, microwaved for about 15 seconds, warms up the cake but does not melt the icing. Perfection on a cold winter morning.

Amazing. I’ve had Kringles years ago but didn’t think these would be as good or fresh. I was wrong. They were anazing.

Tastes like salt! The salt is so great that it lingers for hours! Horrible! Unfortunately, the great reviews convinced me to break my rule about first time purchases--I bought a package of 2 types rather than testing with 1 first. It tastes like they spilled salt into it and went ahead with it anyway. Find it difficult to grasp that no one else commented on the salt overkill--that is all one can taste!. Perhaps people are generally so used to fast food, frozen dinners, and restaurant meals that they can't taste the strong salt taste. Can't eat. $54 and change in the garbage. Really displeased! Heads up on the pecan--all goo and few pecans! UGH! Run!

The Kringles that I ordered arrived on time (11 July) and box was placed on doorstep at Greg's (my son in law) apartment; however, Hurricane/tropical storm Barry was approaching Louisiana and Greg had to evacuate from Slidell early on the 11th. When he returned to Slidell on 16 July, the box amazingly was still on his doorstep; however, the Kringles did not survive the hurricane's wind, rain, and later the heat. The smell was unbearable and Greg had no choice but to put package in the garbage. So sorry for not relating to the storm before ordering. pat hood
