No drips, no silicone mess
Didn’t want to mess with silicone sealant, heard good things about Lube Locker gaskets. I have to say I’m impressed! Cleaned the cover and housing well, bolted everything up, and have not seen a single drip or any sign of leak on either the front or rear of my Jeep. If I can get a couple changes out of them before I need to replace them I’ll be extremely happy.

Works like a charm!
Installed this on a 2013 Wrangler with the Dana 30 on the front that had been sealed with RTV silicone and had developed a slow leak. All of the reviews I read suggested this gasket instead and they were right. Installation is straightforward - definitely a DIY job if you have even minimal mechanical skill: 1) drain the old differential oil, 2) pop off the cover, 3) scrape the old RTV sealant off of the cover and differential body, 4) put the LubeLocker gasket in place, 5) bolt the cover back on, and 6) fill with fresh diff oil. Whole process took me about 45 minutes due to the process of scraping the old RTV sealant off. Best of all, NO LEAKS. Plus they added a sticker to the package. Well worth the small investment.

Can't beat it so far
Worked out great now the real test will be later when I change my fluid again and see if it's actually reusable haha but so far no leaks with the torque down to spec and the clean mating surface

Best you can get
Best gaskets you can get for a diff. Cover. They don't call them reusable but if both mating surfaces are very clean and flat and you don't abuse the gasket when servicing it will reseal multiple times. I've got Lubelockers front and rear on 3 rigs that have been serviced and reused

Say Goodbye to RTV with LUBE LOCKER LLR-D030 Lubelocker
Hey there fellow Jeep owners, I recently picked up the LUBE LOCKER LLR-D030 Lubelocker for my Dana 30 differential, and let me tell you, it's been a game changer. As a non-professional mechanic, I used to dread changing out my differential cover because I never got the RTV sealant just right. But with the Lubelocker, installation was a breeze. It took me less than 10 minutes to install and it sealed perfectly the first time. Not only did it save me time, but it's also reusable. I can easily take it off and reinstall it without worrying about creating a mess with RTV. Overall, I highly recommend the LUBE LOCKER LLR-D030 Lubelocker to any fellow Jeep owner who wants to save time and hassle when changing out their differential cover.
