Buy at least one size bigger than what you think you are
I love the material, I love the concept, but I do not like that (S) small is tight around the leg opening. I'm jumping from 112 to 118lb and I never had to buy medium underwear unless it is some European brand. This S feels like XS because of how snug they are around the leg opening. The rest of the underwear is very stretchy, it can even be stretched to M size, but the the leg opening is too small and too restrictive. I get the idea of making sure briefs don't move too much during hiking but this is a failed design in my book (or improper sizing). The opening is ~7,5 inches X2 (15), it can be comfortably stretched only to 10 inches X2, if you push it to the limit - 12 inches X2, but at that point you will be cutting your blood circulation.$30 down the drain. If you think you are S, buy M. If you think you are M, buy L.79% wool, 15% nylon, 6% spandex, made in Turkey

Best undies EVER!
I was searching for quality wool bikini cut panties for an upcoming trip overseas. I love wool products because they can be handwashed and hung to dry overnight. Also, they are great for not holding onto odor. These undies met these requirements AND they are a great fit. I am considered a medium in most bottoms, but I often choose large panties because I like full coverage and HATE wedgies. I ordered these undies in a large (I'm 5'5" and 130-135). They fit me perfectly. They way they are made in the seat area is great. They have a bit of lycra to help hold their shape and prevent wedgies. The first time I put them on, I was concerned they'd be a little snug around the leg opening, but this eased after a little wear and now I see this is good and helps them stay in place. I've worn them on multiple long hikes and they are the most comfortable panties I've ever bought. Sad to say, I often have to discreetly tug on my panties when hiking, but I NEVER had to with these! Minor miracle! Finally, these panties are the perfect rise to NOT show in low rise pants and have hardly any panty line. They have a flattering look and they help provide a bit of shape for the back side!! I bought 3 pairs. I like them a lot and want to get more.

Too tight for measurements, itchy.
I am under 110 lbs and would need a medium. I purchased a small and it is cut too snug in the leg. Also, itchy!!! Not a soft wool.

Almost...
Leg openings aren't stretchy enough and become uncomfortable after a while. Also, the crotch is too wide. I love the fabric, but the style needs a little tweaking.

I like the material.
This material seems thicker than other merino underwear (specifically Icebreaker). The underwear is soft to the touch and does not itch. The material isn't super thin to where you can see through it. I bought this underwear to travel through Europe for two months (since merino is naturally antimicrobial). It will be hand washed and worn many times during that trip. I will be putting them through a lot of wear and tear, and I will update after my trip.UPDATE 9/3/15:I used this underwear every other day while traveling Europe. I hand washed or machine washed it basically every other day. I walked about 15 miles a day while wearing these underwear and they held up GREAT! I am very happy these held up my whole trip. In fact, there shows no major wear or tear on them. I definitely would recommend these to anyone.

Too bad they don't carry XL yet
A little small. Too bad they don't carry XL yet. Not super comfortable either. And they're not as breathable as I would have liked.

A splurge but I'm happy with my purchase.
This was definitely a splurge for me - one of many in terms of items I bought for the west coast trail. I had read lots of good stuff about merino wool and how warm they keep you while being odour resistant. Super important when you're hiking for a week along the Canadian pacific rim and can't shower or bathe for the entire time. It kept me warm on unexpectantly cold evenings. So I'm happy for the purchase.I was luckily able to try on a pair at a hiking store before I decided to purchase this online, so that was the deal closer for me. I really dislike panty lines and this one was reasonable in my opinion.

One Star
I cannot wear wool underware. Very itchy. Overpriced. Wish I hadn't purchased them.
