Second update. I figured out the the crazy logic of my 2014 A5 media system. Patience is the first thing needed. Adapter did exactly what it was supposed to do. 5 stars. Update: I increased my score to 4 stars from 3. I have learned to adapt how I use my phone on the internal bluetooth and the bluetooth link provided by Invery. My Audi A5 comes with bluetooth for phone, but not for media. This adapter is intended to connect to the Multimedia system and play music (Pandora) thru the sound system. It did. I thought the solution was at hand. It needed me to adapt. After about a week of successful use, I was no longer able to make phone calls thru my cars system. Somehow the signals were getting crossed and the phone would simply disconnect after dialing. After disconnecting the adapter my phone system returned to normal. I did contact the vendor to see if there is a solution. They have been helpful in helping me findind a way to make this work. It does. If not seamlessly.

Seamless integration. Works very well. Connects almost immediately and has fantastic sound quality. No interference or static. If it doesn’t work MAKE SURE ITS PLUGGED IN ALL THE WAY. I had to push super hard to get it to clip in completely and after that it worked fine. Some of the bad reviews are probably because people didn’t push hard enough. All the volume controls work on the wheel. Song comes up on the center display and screen.

It works well with my IPhone 16 and Audi Q5. The only thing is I have to disconnect the Bluetooth connection when I leave the car or it does weird thing trying to play the music

Purchased (off a different Amazon account) for a 2011 Audi A4. It was super easy to set up, and it sounds okay, not as good as a car with Bluetooth already installed, of course. My issues with this: 1. If I pause music on my iPhone XR, it will pause for a second then continue playing. It apparently has to be paused on the car’s stereo to pause. 2. It will display the first song’s title when it is first connected, and not update when the song changes. It will continuing counting up until the song is over, then restart with the next song’s time but again, not switch the song title. 3. I tried to record an accident on my phone the other day, but apparently when this is hooked up, you can’t record a video. Smart in most senses, expect for the reason I was trying to record in the first place. 4. When I play music in the car, turn the car off and try to play music via Bluetooth on my JBL speaker, my phone will continue trying to connect to the Invery Bluetooth. I have to manually “disconnect” the Invery device multiple times, as it will keep hooking up to the car and play music in a black hole somewhere. This may sound like a phone issue but I have 4 other vehicles with either built in Bluetooth or a Bluetooth accessible device and it happens with none of them. 5. This may just be because of my specific car, but it doesn’t hook your calls up, so you’ll have to battle the radio to answer the phone. 6. The price is insane for a mediocre product. I am planning to return once I find a better alternative, because I thought I could get over all these issues but they’re driving me insane two weeks in.

I've had this gadget on my wish list for sometime, but was afraid to complete the purchase because I was very skeptical that it could serve as a replacement for my current Audi AMI adapter. I needed to update my Audi AMI adapter which I had to connect to other cables over the years in order to use my iPhone. When I upgraded my iPhone to 15 this meant USB-C and all of the cables I had that were compatible with lightning adapters were obsolete. I wasn’t able to find an adapter that I trusted that connected from the 30 pin I needed to a USB-C that also provided pass through audio and not just charging. So for months, I have been without a way to connect my iPhone to the speakers in my vehicle. I also hesitated on this particular product because of its cost. I just did not think it would perform the function I needed properly and it was relatively expensive. There was also the question of whether I was buying the right model for my vehicle. It can be a bit confusing from the descriptions. As it turned out, I have a 2009 Audi with Audi Symphony so my vehicle just squeezed in to the compatibility for this model number. But you can never be sure. I am absolutely ecstatic to say that this product is worth every penny. Any concerns I had about how to install or pair it to my phone or my vehicle were instantly erased after I removed the original AMI adapter. I simply went to the Bluetooth set up on my phone and Invery was right there, the first time. I paired it without any problem and began playing high quality music through my sound system once again. It could not have been easier. It came with directions, but I never even had to read them. My screen looks as if it did before and I’m still able to get my phone calls as usual through Bluetooth. This is not my first time trying an AMI adapter from Amazon for my car so my surprise is quite genuine. No, it’s not cheap but it’s worth every penny. The music sounds fantastic. I’ve had no problem so far and I love it. If your car is compatible, I highly recommend that you invest in one of these for your new phone.

Il prezzo non è bassissimo ma devo dire che il risultato è veramente buono. Si connette semplicemente e consente di associare qualsiasi sorgente audio esterna. Funzionano benissimo i comandi dell'auto sia per volume che per ricerca avanti e indietro. L'audio e veramente ottimo. Lo tengo sempre collegato dentro al vano porta oggetti e dopo qualche mese di utilizzo posso dire che funziona benissimo e si è sempre connesso all'avvio dell'auto senza problemi.

Funktioniert tadellos. Es ist tatsächlich als ob ein iPod am Kabel hängt. Es ist nicht zu spüren das es über Funk arbeitet. Der Adapter schaltet sich bei Zündung sofort zu und Aktiv auf der Headunit. Der Klang ist auch sehr gut, keine Aussetzer im Funk. Ich habe gleichzeitig die Headunit als Telefon verbunden. (Mit dem eingebauten Bluetooth vom ntg4 hab ich immer das Problem, das die Verbindung stockt.) Ich nutze ein iPhone 15 Pro mit iOS 17 damit.

Easy to set up, works well with decent sound quality. it’s a bit pricey but I’d rather have something that’s reliable than the minefield of alternatives that had extremely mixed reviews. Dont forget to disconnect ur phone from the car first or it’ll just keep pairing to that. I have an Audi A5 (2010) and removed my phone from the car menu first so it wasn’t trying to pair to it. It automatically pairs every time you get back in the car which is a touch.

It's working for my 2010 Q7 which has MMI 3G High. Plug and play, also no issues to connect with the newest iPhone. The track info appears also on the car MMI and you can control track list on your MMI (steering wheel included).
