Layered patterns lend a modern touch to this casual wingtip. Steve Madden, the company, was founded by Steve Madden, the man, in 1990 in Brooklyn, where he started out making trend-advancing shoes one pair at a time. It was not long after that the Steve Madden focus on "now-ness" earned rave reviews from young female fans mad for the funky, chic, and yet competitively priced footwear it produced. The company popularized the "dressy sneaker," and continues to man the forefront of trends.

A real head-turner
These shoes are guaranteed to attract attention wherever you are. They fit well, stay nice after many wear, and are as comfortable as dress shoes can be expected to be. The white/wood sole is not as much of a dirt magnet as I was expecting, and the herringbone pattern on the medial sides of the shoe really set it apart from traditional wingtips. Beware, though, that the area between the laces and the black toe is actually a fairly light grey, especially against the black of the toe. This looks excellent on the shoe, but they are not all black, so do not think that you can pass them off as such. Because you can't. Unless you're colorblind. Which stinks.

but for the price I would recommend.
Since its cotton and suede it stretched out to fit my foot perfectly, but beward of suede. It became dingy after a few wears out on the town, but for the price I would recommend.

I love these kicks. They fit perfectly, they're so much more comfortable than any other oxfords I own, and they definitely pull more complements and love than any other pair I own too. These joints are fresh, if you want a great pair of eye grabbing oxfords, do yourself a favor and get these. Steve Madden hit this design not just out of the ball park, but out of the stratosphere.

i love these shoes.
I have worn these shoes almost everyday since it arrived. Everyone around me wants to know where I bought them. The shoes are very classy and unique. Light and attractive. The different shades of black colour designs make the shoes fit almost every colour of dress. I am looking for a similar design in blue colours. My only disappointment was I expected the soles to be higher as in the pictures, though this is not a problem.

Fun Shoe
While my wearing time is limited, i can say that those shoes were light and will be more comfortable as they are worn more. They are a bit tight at the moment but not short. I did expect them to be a bit more classy looking so that I could wear them with a more dressy look. I hesitate because the shoe fits more into a casual setting than a formal one. A fun shoe for fun times.

Awesome Choice!
When I saw these, I just had to have them, even though I had just bought myself 4 new pairs of Cole Haan shoes. I was not disappointed. I wore then today for the first time and I got more compliments and nods to my style than the CH's, at least so far. Get them and I guarantee you'll have sae same response!

These were a gift for my son at Christmas. He loves the shoes, but wears them occassionaly.
