Great value, cheaper than getting the original heads redone. Worked great for any OEE stock type application.

Low compression version
Although this is a nice clean replacement head, it s the low compression version of the dual port head that came out for 1600cc VW's. I bought it to replace an 043 that had a crack and the compression was 20 psi than the other stock head. So the choice was to buy another one of these or try to find another identical 043 head. After looking for used heads and the cost to rebuild I went with another of these. It's fine for an every day driver.

Run right out of the box
Unboxed and installed on a new build. Seemed like decent machine work. Car runs great, no complaints, especially considering the price

good price but half solution: no rocker and shafts included
Both cylinder heads are very well packed and protected, which reflects positively on the seller. However, when I purchased them, I didn’t notice that they didn’t come with rockers and shafts. I don’t understand why they sell the cylinder heads this way, as what everyone is looking for are comprehensive solutions. At the time of writing this review, the seller did not have rockers or shafts. It would be ideal if the seller offered rockers with different ratios at the time of purchase. That way, you would receive a complete solution.
