Gtech AirRAM MK2 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner with Powered Brush Head - Perfect for Carpet and Hardwood Floors - Rechargeable 22v Li-ion Battery - Lightweight (7 lbs.)

I purchased this because i mostly have laminate flooring and 1 medium-sized area rug. It's awesome! I tried two other vacs/sweepers before finding this holy-grail sweeper-vac. It picks up ALL the dust and bits that i passed the vacuum over, occasionally needing to "re-do" (go over again, back/forth) a bit of debris. Left and right edging is excellent, as well as front-on being excellent (this failed when testing 2 other vacs ...that i returned). It's not excessively loud (no pets scared), and I can do the whole 1500 sq ft house easily on one charge (with at least half the charge remaining for another sweeping day). When vacuuming a short-pile area rug, you'll notice when pulling back on the vacuum, that it hunkers-down to create a stronger suction. [Note: when vacuuming/sweeping HARD FLOOR surfaces, you'll notice slight resistance when initiating the pulling back action but this lessens after a few days' usage. It also trains you to vacuum in a forward motion, apposed to traditionally going forward/backward repeatedly to direct the vacuumto a new section. It also has the delightful feature of being "wrist-controlled" into the desired direction ...unlike traditional vacuuming that requires a heavy arm/hand to change direction for vacuuming under low furniture, for example. Re charging, I choose to run my vacuum until all the power is depleted then plugging it in for a 4 hour charge. Meaning, I don't leave the appliance continually plugged in, as I believe this considerably shortens a/the battery life. [I do the same for hand vacs.] AND if this vacuum battery someday dies, you can purchase a compatible replacement battery! (I like this vacuum so much that I'm considering purchasing a replacement battery before I need it... in case they're not available in several years.) The price is right for this sweeper/vacuum at approximately $226

Great vacuum!! I waited awhile before writing a review so that I was able to use this vacuum several times and clean the filter before writing a review. Vacuum exceeded my expectations! I was skeptical because it doesn’t have a detachable hose to get hard to reach areas like corners & baseboards. BUT this vacuum has so much suction power there is no need for the detachable hose part. Is fantastic on bare floor surfaces & great on carpet & area rugs. I have approximately 1200 sq feet of area I vacuum and the battery lasts for entire vacuuming of this area & still 1/2-1/4 battery life left, depending on amount of dirt picked up. If it is working harder it uses more battery life. Fast charging when battery does run out. . Also it is easy to empty dirt trap. The vacuum comes needing to assemble but super easy to put together. Very light weight and easy to maneuver. The pick up of dirt & dust far exceeds my previous vacuum which was the Shark upright for pets. I’m so glad I purchased this vacuum!!

We continue to be astonished at what a hard worker this vacuum cleaner is. We have a cat and had a dog and this cleaner picked up a LOT more dog & cat hair than we realized was there. It's not quite as noisy as a regular vacuum cleaner, is easily emptied/cleaned and scented cartridges are available to pleasantly scent the room as you vacuum. As someone with mobility issues, I find this vacuum cleaner MUCH easier to use than a standard upright vacuum since there's no cord to deal with. The battery is easily recharged and lasts, for me, for at least two thorough cleanings. I love it and its definitely worth its price.

Tested specification Air flow: 26 CFM not incredible by cordless vacuum standards but it's about on average more than enough given the primary action this machine relies on is a good brush roll for beating the carpet. Agitation: as mentioned above the brush bar and powerful motor make quick work of beating the dirt out of the carpet it's very effective at brushing pet hair and other surface debris off carpet, I would still recommend a corded vacuum as your primary machine for your home however this will make a pretty good quick clean up machine for getting your house presentable for company. Noise level: it's not loud at about 5 and 1/2 ft from the unit the typical distance from the user's head while using it I measured 67 decibels You could easily have a conversation over it. Dustbin: it's a good size of dust cup/bin but has a quirk You have to hold it with the opening that the dirt enters the cup facing upward any other orientation will cause the dirt to fall back out of the container you'll get the hang of it the first time you tried to empty it it's not that big a deal. Replacement parts and serviceability: if you're not afraid of tinkering you could totally keep this thing going for years GTech offers almost every replacement part you would need to keep it running as time goes on and the parts aren't terribly priced either replacement filters and scent pods if you want to install one to make the air smell better can be bought on Amazon or other retailers for about 12 to $15. Runtime: The runtime varies depending on the flooring that you're using the machine on in my tests hard floor got me about 43 minutes of continuous run time and on carpets the runtime is reduced to just 35 minutes I found that was enough to vacuum my 1,200 ft² house two times being relatively thorough before the battery gave up I have medium pile carpet. Filtration: it's not the best if you have allergies you'll definitely be wanting to empty the container outside while the filtration isn't the best I've ever seen certainly not HEPA level it definitely doesn't spew dust into the air either. Clean up score done by measuring out 100 g of sand pouring it into medium pile carpet and then passing the machine forward and backward over the carpet at a constant pace for two passes the GTech air ram MK2 scored a 94% in this test which as far as cordless machines go is almost unheard of The only other machine to reach higher than that in percentage was the Dyson outsize and that machine is quite a bit more expensive. Overall thoughts: if you're looking for a vacuum that's relatively lightweight on the wrist easy to maneuver has relatively good runtime compared to other cordless machines and is relatively well specked for the price you really can't beat this machine especially over the American model the Bissell Air ram this machine particularly the MK2 is a much better deal given that it's basically what the Bissell air ram is based off of. As far as vacuums I've tested this one gets an 8 out of 10 it could have done with a bit more functionality as far as above floor cleaning but if all you're going for is cleaning your floors and getting rid of loose pet hair this will do the job just fine.

This is by far the best lightweight cordless vacuum cleaner I’ve owned — and it’s my third! I ordered it in June 2025, and everything from the swift shipping to the easy assembly exceeded my expectations. It's incredibly user-friendly, easy to maneuver, and the suction power is impressive. Unfortunately, last week I ran into an issue where the power cable wouldn’t connect to the battery unless I held it in place — it would fall out immediately after releasing pressure. I contacted the supplier to ask if I could get a replacement power cable. To my surprise and delight, they responded within a day and informed me that they’d be sending me an entirely new vacuum cleaner! WOW — I was beyond happy. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Out of curiosity, I tried the new power cable on the old vacuum, but it still wouldn’t connect — so I suspect the issue may have been with the battery pack itself. Regardless, I am extremely grateful for the replacement and seriously impressed with the quick, efficient, and courteous customer service. Highly recommend this product and company!

Love it! This is the best vacuum i ever had. It is very light, it reached all the hard to reach spots, it picks up dirt wonderfully. The best part is: it is wireless. Strongly recommend it anyone.

I have 4 cats, 2 dogs in and out and live down a dirt road. I have to use this vac 2x a day. After 6 months of rough use, this Gtech is still going! I am Very impressed, it cleans and picks up cat, dog hair. It's so satisfying to dump the canister. The battery, I charge every other day in a 1200' home. It cleans my area rug. I'm not playing when I say it can take a licking and keep ticking. I will never go back to a cord vacuum again, no stopping and re-plugging... Now, let's be honest about these filters. They are a bit flimsy, but they work great. I have to be careful when washing the bottom black piece, it can slip off. But yes, they are re-washable for about 3 times, so I would suggest buying extra filters when purchasing. I always spray my filter with perfume, and it makes my home smell great. I share some pics also. Would love to upgrade next time to the corner spinners.

I have an older model of this vac that I have had for probably 10 years, I love it ! The battery lasts great, good suction for a cordless and great for quick clean ups, the only thing missing is the lights that this "new and improved" model has and I really have come to like the lights on my other full sized so I figured Gtech is the way to go for a new cordless with lights. Only to be disappointed, first off the lights are not bright at all, more of a yellow hue and dont really show the floor unless you use it in the dark I guess. Second, the suction is not near the same as my old one, as soon as I turn it on it even just sounds weak, the batteries read full, but I let it charge anyways, and still same weak sound compared to their older model. What happened Gtech, used to brag about your products, now I wont, newer is not always better. So, Im glad I bought this on Prime day and didnt pay full price
