This food does the trick to support the urinary health of my cat Obie.Because he is such a magical cat, that he pees crystals, and occasionally has blockages for that reason😩This food works and has prevented the hassle of having to go to the Vet to get a prescription for a cat food that costs twice the price!We do incorporate water with the this at each meal for both cats as well as a little bit of canned food. We’ve now added an extra high quality food as well to help with their skin, coat, and pooping-as his cat food seems to cause a little bit of constipation or occasional issues with pooping.

All five of my special needs cats love this brand of food. Three of the five are prone to struvites, and because they eat each others’ food, they all need the low-magnesium diet. I wish it was slightly lower in calories, and two of my older cats are on the chonky side, but they turn up their noses at the reduced calorie urinary prescription food. I must admit, it does smell like cardboard. They love this flavor, and while not inexpensive for five, it’s a far cry from the $100 per bag for the prescription food they frequently refuse to eat. So far, it seems to be keeping the struvites at bay. My oldest cat has had three complete blockages over the years; fortunately, I always catch them quickly, but they’re enormously painful and result in a huge vet bill and a very unhappy boy, so anything I can do to prevent them is worth it.

This food has effectively lowered my male cat's urinary pH. He seems to like it, though not as well as his previous food. It is high-priced for a Purina product but necessary for my cat's health. Also, of note, his coat has become very soft.

Lasts a while. Cats seem to love it. I order it all the time. Good for both of my cats health

My cats refuse to eat this. They were getting too fat on the Iams, so we switched to this. They did lose a lot of weight because they hate this food.

Although this is a nutritional cat food my cats do not like it. They eat it when nothing else is available. I have to supplement their daily food with Purina Indoor Cat/Purina moist cat food, which they love.
