this is an absolutely fantastic item, I bought a very similar item several years ago from Argos. This one has had various improvements, like the brush holder is fixed to the base and not tangling on a flimsy piece of apparatus. the fitting for the toilet roll cover comes already in place, previously you had two, flimsy pieces of spring loaded bits of metal that eventually broke. The base is slightly wider but heavier which makes the item more sturdy re knocks etc. Even the toilet roll holder is not metal effect plastic, which may not seem like much but previously is was white plastic where you could actually see the spring. Overall this item is extremely good value for money. Well done manufacturers

Missing parts
I was looking forward to assembling the piece to finally finish off the bathroom. Unfortunately I've not been able to, since 2 bolts were missing from the box. Instructions stated 3 bolts, 2 to hold the stand to the base, 1 to hold the toilet brush holder to the base. The packet containing the bolt and 3 washers was sealed so definitely a lack of QC at packing stage. Can't comment on strength or durability since it's in pieces. But it looks okay and the base is weighted to prevent toppling. Hopefully it'll be fit for purpose once I pick up some bolts from Screwfix, as that seems the easier option than returning for a refund and having to reorder.

Free standing toilet roll holder.
This replaces a similar one which rusted after 9 years. Find the silver flap really annoying but difficult to remove.

Rubbish.
It's actually zero stars.Packed with parts dropped loose in the box, and badly damaged. It looks like someone crushed brush container with the foot, even though the box is not damaged. That only mean that the seller packed damaged (returned) product and re-sold it.The product is an utter rubbish. The only part I use is toilet roll holder, which is broken on myholder and reason for this purchase.
