Looks well made and the right size for my fire box

Very well made. Really like the smooth liner on the inside, and the silicone coating on the outside, to prevent fibers on your contents and on your hands. A nice touch is the silicone strip over the zipper to help with resisting water infiltration. Great customer service also.

Item is fine for storing cash, credit cards and small jewelry items. Anything larger and you're not going to get a whole lot in it. If the item had a flat or expandable bottom that might allow for a little more storage room? The item is well made. Zipper works smooth and free and the velcro closure is strong and secure. But I'm very skeptical of the 5200 degree fire rating. Test method to establish the fire rating was UL 94VTM-O (Google it for details) and I can't understand how the results of that test method translate to or warrant a 5200 degree rating. Well made home metal safes are only guaranteed at around 1700 degrees for 1 hour before they fail. However, the seller never states at what temperature and what the duration of time is before this item totally fails and it will fail eventually. Hope I never have to find out where those two lines would meet on a chart. This item is not made or suitable for a standalone method of safeguarding valuables from fire damage. Your best bet would be to store this item in a well made safe to up your chances of the contents surviving a fire or at least to minimize any damage to its contents. I would not purchase this item again. Need an item with more storage space.

Very sturdy and heavy, with good solid zipper and protective flap. Of course, we are unable to know how it will perform but this will fit in my home safe with some cash and other important papers, as a good second layer of protection.
