Bought these in June 2019. Read just a few reviews that mentioned rust. It is now December of 2022 and have not had any problems with rust. These are stainless steel and so expected to not rust. My wife and I have a six quart Instant Pot that we use these in. Bought inserts so that we could steam 3 vegetables at same time. Works great!!!! Makes meal prep faster. Try to never leave review right away as want to make sure whatever I get passes the test of time. I bought a set for my daughter and would highly recommend this product. Now it is June of 2024. I use these all the time and no rust. Still very pleased with product and time it saves. I do not put away until dry just to make sure no rust gets even a chance to start. Lightly dry with towel and let sit 10 or so minutes or until I get around to putting away.

I use this in an 8 Qt Instaapot. Having the capability of steaming or cooking 3 items is a blessing, making this a "must have" in my opinion. It goes in and comes out easily and the rubber coated handles facilitate removal with no burns or slipping. I have attached a pic. The first point is the feet are about 5/8" (1.5 cm) tall so it easily accommodates ~500 ml water in the 8 qt Instapot for effective steaming. The second point in the pic is that the way the seam is bonded is very strong and the thickness of the material is very good. It appears to be stainless steel with no coating (or paint). Given the assumption that things will be cooked, and cleaning will be in due time, I can't see how these would not last a long tome without rust or discoloration. Though I do not use metal scouring pads.As an experiment I put quite a bit of force, beyond what would be encountered cooking to the seam, and there was little flex or discomfort. I do not see that this will be flimsy/weak over time. Depending on the meal plans, sometimes I use 1-2-0r 3 of the baskets, they stand well regardless of the number of units, one does not need all 3 to have then stand up. Overall pleased and I hope you enjoy these as much as I have.I also have the 2 tray stackable. I like that also, it depends on what the recipe is. The stackable is great for let's say a meat in one tray and a veggie in the other.Overall a quality product and a high level functionality (must have).I enjoy doing these experiments. I purchased this to use in my tamale steamer hoping it would make the stacking easier. This is absolutely fantastic. My husband rolls and ties as I spread the masa and meat on the husk. They stack in the baskets (these are 3 divided sections) perfect and it has cut down on a lot of work. Also, they can be arranged just far enough apart in the pot that I can add water through the middle if needed and never touch my tamales. We were able to get 2 dozen in easily and they cooked better and faster than any other time in our pot. The silicone handle on each section makes it so easy to lift out without having to life each tamale out of the steam pot one by one. The legs on the bottom lift it enough that the water doesn't splash through the holes in the insert on bottom of pan and get on the tamales. I love the product and will use it for other things, I'm sure. Our main reason for this was our tamales and it solved ANY problem we have. I highly recommend this product. It was packaged great, great shipping time as stated. Would give it 10 stars if I could.

Overall, I like this because I can cook my vegetables that I want to serve separately at the same time. The only drawback is that the opening in the top is rather small. Since the pot is made of metal, it's really hot when it comes out of my Ninja Foodi. So it can be a bit awkward to hold on to it without burning yourself while scraping the veggies out of it with a spoon. Yes it has a handle for lifting it out of the pot, but you have to tip it up to get the contents out and into a bowl. I cooked potatoes and carrots in mine and in both cases, a few pieces of the vegetable stuck to the sides and needed to be scraped out, which is a bit difficult when it's hot. Otherwise, I like it and will continue to use it.

We don’t use it as often as we thought we would, but when we do - it’s valuable to have to steam multiple veggies at once.

Cooked most of dinner meal in these steamers ...steamed in 4 minutes!> Perfectly cooked Cod and veggies (swiss chard, parsnips, beet, leek bulb> slices in with cod)! Swiss chard not overcooked! Steamers are elevated so> bottom doesn't sit in liquid. Handles are a little stiff but relatively> easy to move and not hot to touch - make sure instant pot has reduced steam> or use small pot holders to lessen burn from steam. Likely handles will> loosen with greater use and movement. Easy cleaner up - beautiful shine.> Preparing a healthy meal for One person - love them! Purchased a set for> both daughters-in-law. They have the 8 qt Instant pot while I have the 6 qt.> Anyway, thanks! I'm very happy with your product. A wonderful accessory to> use with the Instant Pot! Oh, I sauteed leek greens, fresh ginger> slices, and 1/2 avocado in saucepan with butter. Had 2 raw radishes sliced.Update: I also purchased this for my son for his Instant Pot. So functional with somewhat easy clean-up - corners inside take a little more effort to clean. I believe he will love it.

Great quality and so easy to cook multiple veggies at the same time in the IP. I currently have potatoes, carrots and cabbage in the IP - on for 10 minutes. All veggies will come our perfectly. Highly recommend.

This is great for introducing each food item as wanted .... especially good for boiled dinners where each food item is a different density and cooking times are different. This way I just add each basket as I want them added.
