They are impressive for small speakers, I installed them on my motorcycle. Sound is incredible. Even at full power with a 200 watt amp..I would definitely recommend them no distortion.

Decent size magnet to handle the power, rubber surround and paper cone material. Terminals are basic. I’m Saying these really preform well. Test bench tested them using a 100 watt amplifier and they sounded great. I ran them both full range and also using a band pass crossover (800-4000hz). I ordered the 4 ohm version and I used a band-pass crossover filter to integrate these in my car’s front doors to build a nice three way set up. The result really cleared up the midrange frequencies and these can take plenty of power especially using a quality crossover. They are also very efficient so they play nice and loud. The midrange clarity of these really brings out the clarity in vocals and acoustic instruments. I was surprised they can put out some decent bass for their size too so you may want to run these full range to get a lower end response. I’m not sure what the upper frequency roll-off is but on the low end the seem to do pretty good down to 200hz I did not look at an spectrum analyzer so I’m saying this based on my listening and experience. For the price you won’t be disappointed though I do feel these will sound best within a two or three way system.

I've got two pairs of those for my custom audio system. They come with 100uF bipolar capacitor spliced into the wire as a high pass filter. This makes them quieter if your amp is wimpy, but it allows for more volume with a better amp without over-excursion and damaging the speaker. 150uF could be a good compromise if you need more bass and do not need them screaming. If your amp cannot give enough power to cause over-excursion - just remove the capacitors. The sound quality is as good as it gets for speakers of this size. I really wish to see the full data sheet for these.

Sounds great! For the price, im shocked how well they perform! Crisp, clear, and punchy. Paired with 4" passive bass radiators, and a tuneable Bluetooth amp you cant go wrong!! Better option than Dayton audio imo, that is also flagged for frequent returns. Seriously just buy them. Don't let the cheap price, wattage and size turn you away. You're gonna thank me later!

These speakers sound great for the price. Much better than other speakers I’ve purchase that are at least double this price.

Had to replace a blown 3" full range driver in an Acoustic Research ARS70-A BT wireless speaker. I replaced both drivers as the dimensions and specs were a perfect match. The results are excellent and exceeded my expectations. The speaker now sounds solid with a very smooth and listenable sound with ample volume. It was tinny and thin sounding before. I have no idea if the single working speaker was also damaged so I don't know if this setup sounds better than with the original AR drivers. But it does sound good now. And very reasonably priced as well.

I was using these and could never seem to adjust my EQ to make them sound right, I ended up replacing them with a different 3” full-range driver by DA and they sound significantly better.
