This is an ok harness. Its design is constructed well.
The ick about this harness is maybe a thicker fabric strap could have been used for more sturdiness and durability.I think with an added hand pull stitched down/across seam between the dog's shoulder blades or nape of neck, on this harness would have made it an awesome designed harness. So far so good for now. Update to follow.

Exactly what my dog needed!
Recommended For:Owners whose dogs love to pull. For owners whose dogs are willing to endure pain by pulling, this gentle discomfort on the chest is keyWhy It Won't Work For Some:Freedom Harness directions say: You must accompany the harness with a basic training technique (below). Owners who are willing to spend half an hour for a few days training their dog will get a great result of walking with ease. Without the training, your dog won't understand as easily and you won't be as likely to find success. Those who don't read in the harness' directions to follow this technique don't find success with the harness.Basic Training Technique:You need to firmly dig your feet into the ground and stop when your dog is pulling too hard. This way, the dog realizes that pulling won't get them anywhere, and the harness makes it hard to pull anyways. Once your dog stops pulling and looks at you, you can reward them by walking again. This really gets through their heads that pulling isn't worth it! Pulling won't bring them closer to their next adventure! The harness the above technique way easier to do because they can't pull hard for long in this harness. With training AND the harness, your dog will DECIDE to stop pulling. My Previous Attempts:My siberian husky mix lives to run and pull. If I walk her on her collar, she'll pull so hard, she'll nearly choke herself. When I try to stop her from moving to discourage pulling, she'll slip her collar. If I walk her on a regular harness (attaching in the back, non-constrictive), she'll pull with even more force because she can put her whole body into it, and I find it almost impossible to stop her. When I use a front-attaching harness, she pulls so much that it twists to the side, which hurts her front leg and still doesn't keep her from pulling. A head harness makes her uncomfortable, but it doesn't stop her from pulling until it twists around and digs into her snout and eye. A sound and shock collar based on pulling (SimpleLEASH) worked very well at correcting her behavior at the right times and discouraging pulling, but I was looking for something that would be less touchy, less scary to my dog, and more suited towards walking two dogs.My Experience:On our first walk with the freedom harness, she still pulled much too hard for herself in the beginning. Her pulling tightened the martingale loop, and she needed to slow down to catch her breath. She couldn't pull as much because when she did, she couldn't catch her breath. But I followed the recommended training technique that accompanies this harness: when she pulls too hard, stop; when she looks into your eyes, go. (Freedom harness makes stopping the dog MUCH easier!)This harness together with this training technique helped my dog decide that pulling hard wouldn't get her where she wanted to go, but pulling gently and focusing on me would let her go all around the neighborhood. This only took 30 minutes on our first walk. The harness does make a difference because we implemented similar training for years with no success. This harness gives her a little discomfort that she needs to have when pulling too hard, so she takes it down a few notches.SUMMARY:Best harness I've used for walksMartingale loop keeps dogs from catching their breath when pullingVelvet layer keeps the constricted harness a small discomfort instead of pain by protecting their chestFreedom Harness with simple training works wonders!

Overall, very satisfied. Glad I purchased
My pup is just over 1 year old. She can get very distracted on walks and had started pulling me too much with her old "traditional" harness/leash. I looked through a lot of reviews and options before choosing this one. I have no big complaints and I am satisfied with it.You do need to take some time to fit it correctly, which took a lot of putting it on/taking it off until I felt like it fit right. If your dog has issues with things going over their head, then this isn't for you, but my dog adjusted fine. She's shown no signs of discomfort since we started using it. Even when we go to the dog park and I let her off leash to play, I leave the harness on and she's fine.I do feel like I have a lot more control over her with this product. The leash is shorter and it's nice to not have to wrap a leash around my hand a million times. My dog is very strong, but even when a squirrel surprises us by running by, I've been able to control her well with this. My only slight disappointment was that I had thought with the front attachment that it was supposed to kind of pull her around more if she started pulling too hard (like a built-in deterrent from pulling) and it does not. She can't pull AS hard because of the design, and I have better control of her so she doesn't go very far, but it doesn't do quite what I had thought it would.I will say that this has helped me to enjoy our walks again. I had gotten to a point that I was dreading our walks because I spent so much time fighting her. This has helped our walks to be much more calm and relaxed again.

Well made...
Seems to be sturdy and good quality however didn't help with pulling with my 110 lb dane any better than any other harness. Would not suggest if pulling is your issue.

Excellent quality, very strong
Bought for my rottie x bullmastiff, really strong and much better control with the front clip, fab product. Pink was a more of a fuchsia than the baby pink in the pic but preferred that anyway. Would recommend

Beyond Love
I absolutely love this freedom no pull harness. I have tried to walk my Staffordshire cross who is leash reactive on many other harnesses and I can’t! This makes walking and ease. Originally I didn’t love utilizing the front clip as it was a vast learning curve. After working with a trainer, and utilizing the front clip as a redirection tool... I. CAN. WALK. MY. DOG!!!!!

Awesome harness, changed how we walk our dog
This harness drastically changed how we walk our dog. Our dog on a regular Leash would pull to no end and was very hard to control being a husky/ lab/ border collie. We saw instant results putting this harness on and now feel we actually have control when walking. The two leads makes a big difference because it is very easy to redirect them from distractions, or other dogs. She doesn't get the chance anymore to put her full weight into pulling anymore! Would pay more for this with the results were have been seeing, we used to fear walking around the streets but now it's made easy.

Worthwhile purchase
Love the design. My dog didn’t respect the halti anymore, this was a good solution. While she still pulls, I have better control to keep her beside me.Material and hardware are quality.Harness does not slip when wearing. My dog is a determined to pull, 76 lb Rottweiler.
